The common problems

— the list below is just some of what I thought I would probably face once I take on this path. I'm not sure if this could affect you to become more determined or lose motivation, but I believe this would be able to strengthen your mindset and I wish you good luck to overcome these obstacles.
— some problems occur before or during your trainee/ idol period

Stage Fright - not everyone but usually rookie ones have a stage fright where they have a low confidence and can't let their talent out.
- Wonderful tip: "Let yourself sparkle, let your passion and talent ignite, let your beauty burst out, just... BELIEVE IN YOURSELF."
- There are idols who have a stage fright but they choose to conquer because they know their love for the stage weights more than their fear.

Concealed confidence/talent: Similar to the one mentioned above, this could be because they are too afraid to show off their talents which could actually be awesome if they are proud of their own talents.

Mental Block - this is only natural if you get too nervous, so you have to overcome this by believing in yourself and have confidence.

Sleepless night - the most common, you have to bear in mind that you have to be immune to late-night sleep time.
- Hyungwon said Idols usually sleeps 1-2 during their album promotion and even the pre-shoot as well
- I also noticed that idols usually stay up until 2 am whenever they have a reality show. It is often showed where idols will occasionally sleep will having a recording of their show. (sample: Monsta X-ray, Produce 101 shows and BTS as well) There would be morning alarm.

Responsibility: "With great power comes with great responsibility." Being an idol is also a great power, especially those who have a great role in the group, the leader. They are in charge of everything in the group, they have to monitor, guide and lead the members well.

Stress - also everyone has this. But idols/trainees have a different condition by this, in their daily lives it is accompanied by stress but of course, you will endure it since you are doing what you love the most. There are many sources of stress for idols even everything that they do can be stressful, but it's their choice to mind it or relieve it.

Pressure - can be due to stress, insecurity, fear, weakness, etc. Something that triggers them to be depressed as well

Depression - now a days, there are people who experience depression and there are various reason and there are even unexplainable ones. I can't explain this thoroughly that even this book won't be enough. But the common causes are stress,  loneliness, they feel unappreciated, worthless, they feel astray and they can't find their values.
- but not every depressed person are suicidal
- please show affection and care to every humankind.
- be also mindful of these three;
Mental Health
• Emotional Health
• Physical Health
- keep in mind that these health should be monitored as well. Please take care of yourselves as well.

Difficulties/ Disability:  There also people who experience and suddenly experience such difficulties. The common ones are asthma, allergies, disease.
- In my case, this one things triggers me in chasing this idol path, I experience dysmenorrhea at least every month. (Nah, can't tell you the whole story how I endure it, too long tho.)

Home Sick / Culture Shock - everyone has to left their home and enter another world, another bed to sleep, another place to stay in especially foreign idols who have to move out of their country just to be an idol.
- Some idols doesn't even go home for 9 years. The common ones are 2-4 years.
- There are even idols who have to study another language, and have to adapt the new environment.

Studies - a lot have to give up their studies to chase their dreams at a young age. Since the younger ones have a higher chances of debuting, that's why some people give up their dreams to work other career.
- But nowadays, I noticed that there are idols who still keep their studies as well while being a trainee or an idol itself. We can see a lot of idols who have just graduated.
- Sample, Bae Jinyoung even had a vlog when he went to school while shooting their Wanna One Go Zero Base.

Dating - actually written on the contract, dating is mostly strictly not allowed to be more focused on your career. But there are still idols who choose to date and conquer the consequences since there are fans who get hurt and leave the fandom.
- (Watch Radio Romance how the top star conquered everything having a public relationship)

Low chances - obviously, for almost everyone, there are low chances for a debut, can be because of the competition between all of a trainee, and usually an agency usually have a debut cycle where they release new idols every 2-4 years.
(But i think those who have a higher chance are the ones who have a real deal talent, confidence and visuals, and fate as well)

Insecurity/ Weakness/ Fear- everyone has this, but not everyone lets their insecurity overpower them, some will choose to conquer and release their inner self which is honestly beautiful in concept and in reality.
- Ok, this one is mentioned in Monsta X-ray by a psychologist: "Weakness is nothing, it doesn't exist, you only thought it is weakness when you compare it to others. So stop comparing, everyone has their own charm and beauty, there are no such thing as weaknesses, they are all strengths." (not verbatim but the thought is that)

• Bashers/ Sassaeng - "the popularity arise, the haters will more exist." If there are fans there are haters as well, but you should not be afraid of them, don't let them let you down, don't let them overtake you.
- wonderful tip from me: In my personal thoughts, haters are actually the people that you should understand the most since they are actually the people who needs more love, I mean, they might be isolated, insecure, they know they lack on something you have that's why they are hatin' on you. Some just want to make you lose sanity, like, for goodness sake they do it to destroy people so you better not get destructed by them. Keep in mind that you should also bear the words they tell you. There are offensive, sexual, curses, and really hurtful words. "Just don't mind them, don't get too affected." Some of them just want your attention.

ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ

Remember this what I say, there are two types of people when seen a glass that has a half water, one will respond by saying "There is only a half left." (Half empty) and the other one " There are still a have left." (Half full)

Which corresponds to the problems that a trainee or idol will encounter, it's either it will make you quit or will make you more strong.
And make your weakness turn into strength as well.

A simple gift for you guys, I will include tips and hacks on how to conquer these problems because there are always solutions, okay? Fighting!
