"I doubt you'll hit this one!!" He taunted, smashing the racket against the shuttlecock. I grinned back smugly.
"That's what you said the last time." I yelled back breathlessly, returning the ball with my own smash of the racket.
Hero grunted, animatedly dashing to the other side of the court, managing to skillfully hit the shuttlecock over the net where I missed it.
"Dammit!" I cursed silently under my breath, reaching for the ball when they arrived back into the court.
"Hero? Could you open the bottle for me?" Mary chirped, batting her eyelashes at Hero. I turned away and shot my badminton partner a grim smile.
I stalked over to the rest bench, watching from the corner of my eye as Hero effortlessly unscrew the drink for Mary. I sighed deeply.
Would it kill just to have someone like Hero look at me the way he's looking at Mary. Hero was one of the impossibly rare full-package kind of guy: funny, nice, tall, sweet, caring and was just ridiculously good looking. I hurriedly shoved the drink of green tea into my mouth before I screamed in frustration. I scowled at the dull green court walls, when I noticed my badminton partner walking over for a drink as well.
"God! I'm so exhausted! Can't we end the game?" Kent chocked out, panting unattractively like a dehydrated horse. I smiled tightly back, fighting the urge to not inch away as he plopped himself next to me.
I didn't hate Kent. It was more of a not-my-cup-of-tea thing. Kent didn't bother dressing up smartly like Hero did, pulling on loose sweat pants and a dirty stained tee that looked way too flabby on him. Kent burped rudely as he chugged down the fatty coke drink greedily. I mentally rolled my eyes and focused my attention on Hero again. This time Hero was in a deep conversation with Mary who giggled too much. Annoyance bit me deep in my butt and I leaped off the chair to get into court so that I had Hero's attention.
"Are you sure you're okay with just that short rest?" Hero smirked devilishly across the court.
"Why? Afraid I'll beat you too soon?" I jeered back, flicking my sweaty, dirty hair away from my face. It didn't bother that I look bad. He doesn't like me anyway.
As casual as that mental statement sounded, I could feel my self-esteem already depleting. Despite that, I stiffened further, swinging my racket around threateningly. My eyes trained closely on the shuttlecock in Hero's perfect grasp. How his chest was heaving heavily against the tight tee he had on, how the sweat rolled of the sides of his strong, firm jaws and how his muscles flexed when he smashed the shuttlecock-
A shot of pain punched me in the nose, forcing my head back as my fragile figure bent backwards at the impact. Both trembling hands shot out to grab the pain burning where my nose was when a red trail trickled onto my attire. My eyes widened at my nosebleed and I mumbled a muffled 'ow' when bodies and hands surrounded me, muttering and soothing me.
The next thing I knew were my eyes staring up into a white ceiling of the informatory, as the figure beside my bed apologized profusely.
"Hero, stop saying sorry and shut up before you own a broken face as well." I threatened, turning to look at his handsome face. Green eyes met mine and I blinked away as if afraid of them.
"It wasn't your fault. I should have been fast enough to move away." I sighed uninterestedly then coughed at the prickly itch in my throat.
"I still feel really bad about it. The guilt can't be atoned unless I do something for you in return." Hero stated, running a troubled hand through his thick black hair. I stared hungrily at his long fingers. God, how great it would feel to have those fingers all-
A sudden hunger swept through my body and I looked at him longingly, grinning lopsidedly.
"How bout a kiss?" I challenged. I watched as Hero's eyes flickered with caution and I immediately felt like an idiot. There was still the possibility of Mary and Kent back from the vending machine.
"Only to make you forgive me?" he questioned, eyes darting away for a moment. I frowned. This was bad. What am I thinking? Forcing a guy to kiss me out of guilt?! I felt like a whore! He doesn't want to even kiss me!
"You know what? It was only a joke!" I squeaked, sounding like a chocked animal. I shot up, feeling somewhat flustered as I shook my head in an exaggerated motion. "You don't have to do it!"
"I need to do it." Those words rolled huskily off his tongue and I looked up with surprise only to realize those sharp green eyes even nearer than before. The bed dipped as he bent forward so that our eyes were labelled.
Before I knew what was happening, our lips met and my mouth parted with surprise, ready to protest only to feel him deepen the kiss. Our mouths in sync, our breaths trembling with anticipation and guilt.
No! This wasn't...right...
I placed a hand onto his solid chest, ready to shove him back, only to feel even more excited as tingles of sparks travelled up the nerves of my fingers right up to my head and down my spine. I couldn't think anymore as I fell sprawled onto the mattress, while he locked me with his mouth, both arms trapping my sides. Like a wolf ready to pounce on its helpless prey.
"N-no..."I gasped against his mouth, my mind trying to work through the haziness, forcing my body to squirm. He pulled away, and I took in a deep gulp of oxygen. Realization and rationality flooding back into my eyes, and I hurriedly pushed myself up only to arch my body straight into his. Hero groaned and this time attacked the sensitive skin on my neck, nibbling playfully, sucking and then releasing, sucking harder and harder. On impulse, I bent my neck more, exposing more skin as if giving my final consent at his actions. At the back of my head, I was slightly aware of his warm hand running up my legs. Higher and higher, above my knees, higher still, even higher making waves of pleasure wash through my body over and over. The scorching feeling of his nibbles on my neck rolled and balled with his lusty touch, making me bite his earlobe in the naughtiest way. He moaned into my hair and I smirked with triumph, as he released me.
