Chapter 20: MADE IT
Jack POV (ha bet you didn't see THAT coming)
Jack paused the show he was watching and checked his phone. It was 12:30am and still no text from Corbyn. He told Corbyn that Rebecca needed to be home between 11:30 and 12.
Jack knew Corbyn wouldn't try anything on her, but he was still worried out of his mind. He decided to text Corbyn.
Noodlehead: where are you it's 12:30am!
Bean: bro she fell asleep idkwtd
Jack paused for a second before responding.
Noodlehead: ok let her sleep just be home before breakfast tomorrow.
Bean: I know we'll be back by 7 keep the boys busy so they don't notice.
Noodlehead: 👌🏻
Jack sighed and turned off the tv. He went around the house and turned off all the lights.

Rebecca POV
Rebecca woke to the sudden brightness from the sun. She groaned and used her elbow to cover her eyes. Then she started to remember last night and the date. Rebecca jolted awake.
"Corbyn?" Rebecca shook him awake. "What" he mumbled hiding his face from the rising sun.
"Corbyn we fell asleep." He rolled over and turned on his phone "It's 5:30, and it's an hour drive. If we don't leave now the guys will see we didn't come home last night." He jumped out of the back of the truck and helped Rebecca get down.
"What about the truck?" Rebecca asked. "I know a guy. He was the one who did all the electrical stuff, he lives down the road. I'll text him to pick it up." Corbyn explained as they pulled out of the grassy area.
Corbyn and Rebecca sang along to the radio the whole car ride home. They stopped at McDonalds for breakfast because they were both starving.
Rebecca had to go to the bathroom so Corbyn parked and they decided to eat inside. They walked into the nearly empty McDonalds and went to order their food. Corbyn got pancakes and a smoothie while Rebecca got a Yogurt parfait and a hash brown and fries. When she ordered Corbyn gave her a weird look.
"What? Fries are good anytime of the day." She said giving the cashier her debit card.
They were just getting ready to leave when a girl who looked about 15 walked in. She was tall with wavy brown hair, and was wearing a black sweatshirt with jean shorts.
She scanned the restaurant briefly and her eyes landed on Corbyn and Rebecca. Her face immediately lit up. She walked over to them and smiled reveling her dark blue braces.
"You're Corbyn Besson?" She asked. "Yeah, who might you be?" He asked.
"Oh my gosh. Um yeah hi my name is Mimi. I'm a huge fan." She gushed. Mimi turned and faced Rebecca. "And you're Rebecca Avery, Jacks sister right?" Rebecca nodded not used to this kind of attention.
"This is crazy I'm meeting Rebecca Avery and Corbyn Besson at the same time at a McDonalds in like the middle of nowhere. Oh shoot. I'm interrupting something aren't I. I'm so sorry, I'll leave you guys alone." Mimi scrambled for words. Corbyn smiled at the fan. He was much better handling this than Rebecca was.
"Don't even worry about it. I love meeting fans." He replied. Mimi blushed and shyly asked, "Can I get a picture?"
"Of course!" He stood up and Mimi grinned from ear to ear. "Rebecca do you mind being in this too?" Mimi asked sweetly. Rebecca smiled, "I'd love to."
Mimi ran over to her mom who was ordering food and dragged her over to Corbyn and Rebeccas table. "My mom can take the picture."
They took the pictures and when they were done Corbyn have Mimi a hug and Rebecca was surprised when Mimi gave her a hug as well.
"It was awesome meeting you Mimi!" Corbyn called out as they left the building. "Not as awesome as it was to meet you!" She called back.
Corbyn and Rebecca got back into the car and Corbyn pulled out of the parking lot. "How are you so good with fans?" Rebecca asked.
"They made it possible for us to make music. Which reminds me, we are dropping our EP Only The Beginning tonight at midnight." He said proudly.
"What?! Corbs that's amazing! Do the fans know?" Rebecca asked excitedly. "I think they know something is coming. If enough people like it, I think we'll go on tour."Rebecca smiled she was so proud of the guys and all the work they have put into the EP. Rebecca thought for awhile before it hit her.
If the boys go on tour, what would that mean for her?

I had to do some sort of fan interaction (if you haven't read my other short story go check it out!), but can we take a minute to think about how freaking cool it would be to meet the boys outside of like a meet and greet or something?!?! Like what if you saw Zach at Chipotle or Jack and Gabbie at the beach or Corbyn and Christina at some science museum or Jonah and Tate at a coffee shop or Daniel at the grocery store?!?! LIKE HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE!(Sorry for the long a/n) 😂
