Note to Readers: This one obviously takes place when Reid and McDowell were going undercover, just from a different perspective. Sorry it's so short, but please comment and vote. :)
"Those two are definitely sweet on each other," JJ remarked as they all watched Reid and McDowell walk away down the hall on their way to go undercover at a nightclub.
"Question is, how long will it take them to figure it out?" Rossi asked with a smirk.
"You got that right," Morgan said with a chuckle.
Garcia sighed and commented dreamily, and perhaps a bit exaggeratedly, "Young love is so romantic."
Hotch raised an eyebrow at her, and Prentiss said, "If you're planning on hooking them up, Garcia, don't bother. I don't think either of them will consciously let it happen," she pointed out.
"Romeo and Juliet in reverse?" Rossi asked.
"I guess you could call it that," JJ agreed, but Garcia insisted, "Just you wait. I'm going to play matchmaker and it's going to happen."
"Keep dreaming, Baby Girl. I've been working with Reid for three years and he has yet to have a girlfriend," Morgan chided.
"You could at least give him a chance, Derek," Rossi remarked, but Morgan just shook his head.
"You all sound like gossiping teenage girls," JJ told them, and a rare small smile crossed Hotch's face before calling everyone back to the conference room to monitor Reid and McDowell's work on the case. They had an unsub to catch.
