3. Their Loyalty
The ash haired teen opens the letter and read it's contents carefully, once she has finished the letter, Elias puts down the two letter and hide it in her drawer. Everything was happening sooner than she had expected, a small sigh escapes her lips. There was a lot of things that needed to be done like gathering the remaining four members, and attending the Millefiiore's invitation which wasn't part of the written future.
The contents of the letter was important dates to let her know in advance of what was going to happened in the future, but for now, Elias decided to focus on school and she needs to accomplish her first goal;
Get the Student Council President title back.
The female teen looks at the calendar, it was a Tuesday, and two months away from their precious summer vacation, there was so many things Elias needed to do but such little time she only have...
"How unfair life can be..." A sigh escapes in Elias lips as she prepares her stuff for school.
Elias starts to review all of the subjects and studies everything, to prepare herself back to school. It was quite unfortunate that she didn't even had any time to rest as she has to go back to school without a day off.
After an hour had passed a knock came through the other side, Elias paused studying and opens the door to see Hari holding a scissors and Charles with a box of plastic bag as they awkwardly staring at Elias.
"We heard the whole story from Chrome-chan!" Hari explains nervously but doesn't explain why she's holding a scissors in her hand "A-also, erm... We wanted to hear the side of your story..."
"While doing that we were hoping to hear your side as we fix your hair?" Charles awkardly continues "since some parts of you're hair is singed, we thought it would a nice way to talk... just the three of us?"
The pair awkwardly smiles at Elias, the ash teen knew that the two are only worried about her and wants to have a serious conversation. The two thought that it was a great way to bond, they fix Elias's hair while having a heart to heart conversation, it was like killing two birds in one stone.
"Come in." Elias released a defeated sigh followed by a smile as she opens the door wider "I was planning on talking to you two in the future but I guess both of you approached me first."
The two came inside as they locked the room for the three of them talk privately. Charles quickly takes out the plastic bags and laid the plastic out in the floor, while Hari places a chair at the center.
"Where do you want me to start?" Elias asks as she sits the chair.
"I know that there's something that you are not telling Tsuna's friends, Chrome told me that you got captured by a villain, but I feel like your leaving some small details behind..." Hari answers, as she place a plastic around Elias to prevent hair from intruding her clothes "and your definition of small details are sometimes devastating to hear."
"Sharp as ever, huh..." Elias chuckles, as she looks at the bandage in her right arm "The reason I stayed behind is to learn how to get my inheritance mark and it wasn't exactly the most easiest thing to do... I tried to read the book that contains on how to open a dimension gate but the book started to burn."
"Dimension Gate? That sort of thing existed?" Charles asks, crossing his arms his face held an disbelief expression "I thought those kind of things are science fiction..."
"I thought so too..." But then again, I've reincarnated into a fictional world.
Elias silently thought to herself, at this point, she wouldn't be surprise if supernatural events starts to happen. Hari quickly start to do her magic and elegantly cuts Elias' hair.
"But those kind of things exist, and there's someone who I want to pull out of that dark world. She's someone I think who deserve so much better" Elias talks with determination, she looks at her two trusted friends "but for that to happen, I need your power to help me reach that. Will you two please accept my selfish request and follow me to save her?"
"Elias..." Hari softly calls her name, her hand stop from what she was doing "you're always trying to save others, and yet you always forget about yourself..."
"You two always have a choice to reject my request, no one will blame you since I am risking your lives as well..." Elias didn't had the courage to look in their eyes, as she subconsciously clench her hands.
Elias vowed to herself that her timeline will be different from the future.
"You need to stop acting so mature, kid!" Charles walks toward Elias and pats her head "you are still sixteen, you need to think about romance or food or something! I thought of you as one of my siblings and it pains me to see you do something that is beyond your age could handle, but I am glad that you have start to ask for help... Therefore, I, Charles Darling vow to follow you and will risk my life for you."
"Me too! I wouldn't know if I would live another day if I didn't meet you" Hari's voice was shaky, since she's trying her best to hold her tears "I always thought that you would carry all of burden all alone, and I couldn't do anything to help... but now that you've asked for our help, I am really happy that you're slowly relying on us! I, Hari Noize pledge myself to follow you, and I will support you with all I can!"
Hari could not hold her tears back, she was simply overjoyed that Elias was starting to ask for help, to lift a small burden off her shoulder. It wasn't long until the main character herself starts to cry in front of the two, she always held a strong persona in front of everyone that she didn't realize that tears starts to come out as well.
Elias is certainly happy that she has two great friends that are willing to help her even if it was a crazy request, she felt that the wall that she built to create distance was broken by those two.
"Thank you Hari, Charles, I'm really glad that I am friends with wonderful people like you!"
