15. The rain gets tainted

Namimori school was eerily quiet, the building has been completely evacuated, all civilians are not in sight. Despite of the calls from the school principal has reported about the bombing incident, nothing, or rather, no one was going to help, not even the police. Even the news reporter weren't seen.

The walls of Namimori high school turned nothing but rubble, broken into pieces as if it was back to Varia arc all over again, except this time the one who destroyed Namimori was Elias and Hei.

Right now, Elias Lin was sitting down on the ground, unresponsive, her lower rib wouldn't stop from bleeding.

Elias was lucky enough to avoid Hei's bullet that was directed to her heart, and avoided any of her internal organs. But Elias didn't escape from the pain she was going through. No one want to get shot by a bullet.

"If you're this weak, then I don't think you'll survive the actual battle." Hei scoffs, patting off the dust, the raven haired haired teen's clothing was a wreck.

He pretended not to be unbothered by their fight but he didn't expect for the girl to put a good fight therefore the raven haired male didn't expect for him to get serious. To think he'd have to use his box weapon against a weaponless girl. He didn't want to admit it out loud but, the girl was a monster.

He couldn't help himself but to shiver at the thought if the girl was raised by the main family, Elias would have receive ruthless but proper training from them, she would be a perfect killing machine. To make it worse, she would definitely be able to claim her title as the rightful heir of Lin Triad with ease. But the only problem was her blood was tainted by some commoner. 

If only Elias grew up with them, perhaps Hei and his older brother wouldn't have to compete for the spot and maybe the two brothers would be her right hand men.

But...

Fate did not want her to become the monster her relatives wanted to be.

"Where ...are you going?"

A weak yet taunting voice asks, pain was clearly visible through her voice, but the girl could care less at the pain since this man hurt her pride for a simple reason- that she was defeated. Perhaps a part of Kyoya's personality had rubbed off her since she has yet to experience the taste of defeat, therefore, she will not yield until she knows that the enemy couldn't get up anymore before she could passed out.

A sinister smile come across Elias lips, she move her head upward to directly stare at Hei's void eyes.

"...You ..how are you not dead?" Hei's voice was filled with surprise, he was sure that the poison in his bullet must've killed her by now..
