I'd Rather Die than Go with You

Your POV

Right when I shout at Yuzu, he immediately covered my mouth and then pinned me to the tree until I couldn't move

"I told you not to shout right?! And why didn't you tell me that you're from Indonesia?! Yuzu asked while starting to letting go from my mouth

"Why? If I told you that I'm Indonesian, what would you have done? Would you have killed me?" I asked

"No, of course not. I care about you, I would've brought you to another country that's safe and far away from this war" Yuzu said while loosening his grip

"Yeah right" I said while pushing him away from me then started to walk away from him

"Where do you think you're going? You can't just leave especially not on your own" Yuzu said while grabbing my arm

"I'm going to find my family and get them out of here, if you care about me, you would help me find them" I said while pulling my hand away from Yuzu

"Fine, where does your family live?" asked Yuzu while following me

"It's around here, just past these trees and..." I said while pushing the branches that were in the way while revealing a house that was destroyed

"I think we should leave, the sky is starting to get dark, it might rain very soon" Yuzu said while placing one of his hand on my shoulder

"NO!! Not until I find them" I said while running towards the destroyed house

As I went inside the house, all I could see was darkness. The walls that used to fill the house with colour is now grey and dull. Everything was destroyed. The walls were broken, the rooftop has a big crack in it, the glass were shattered into pieces, and not only that but some parts were covered with blood and ashes.

No, my family can't die, not yet, they have to be alive, at least one of them. I searched every inch of the house to find them. From the living room, kitchen, bedroom, even the bathroom. But there was no sign of even one of them. The only remaining place that I haven't search was the garden

When I went outside through the back door, I was shook. I tried to contain myself but I couldn't. I immediately screamed and fell on the ground when I saw my parents and brother, laying on the ground, lifeless...

Yuzu's POV

I followed (Y/N) deeper into the forest until we stumble upon a destroyed house. Immediately, I remembered coming to that house a few days ago. I was told that the family that lives in that house are all gifted in combat battle. So, I was told to force them to join us or kill them.

Flashback (Still Yuzu's POV)

"Ok, this is the house, let's go. You 4, secure the house. The others, find everyone that lives in this house" I ordered to the soldiers

"Yes sir" said the soldiers while doing what I told them to do

After a few minutes later, the soldiers that I told to find the family finally came out of the house with 3 people. A man, a woman, and a young boy. I then ordered the soldiers to hold them down then walk towards the family

"What do you want with us?" asked the man

"My general wants you and your family to join us or, we'll kill you" I said while signalling my soldiers to point their gun to the family

"Do what you please, we will never join you" said the man and woman together

"Last chance, join us or I'll kill your whole family line until there is no survivor left" I said while signaling my soldiers to get ready to fire

"Go ahead. *Kita masih ada 1 keturunan yang kamu gk bakalan bisa temukan" said the man while closing his eyes

After I saw all of them close their eyes, I ordered the soldiers to kill them and all of their family line until there was no survivor

End of Flashback

Still Yuzu's POV

I suddenly heard (Y/N) scream and run straight to where her scream was. When I found her, she was on the ground, crying, near the dead bodies. I couldn't believe it; not only did I kill her whole entire family but she's also the only survivor of the family that the Japanese wants to recruit. I slowly walked towards her and then I stopped when she started to talk

"Tell me the truth Yuzuru, you did this, didn't you?!" (Y/N) asked with a broken voice

"(Y/N), let's just go, ok" I said to her softly

"NO!! Tell me the truth Yuzuru Hanyu, did you or did you not did this?!" (Y/N) shout while standing up and face me

"Yes, I did. I ordered my soldiers to kill your family. But I didn't know they were your family, I swear." I said while moving closer towards (Y/N)

"They're innocent Yuzu!! They didn't attack your people, they didn't kill any of you!! Why?! Especially my little brother, he's just a child!!" (Y/N) shouted at me while crying

"I know, I'm sorry, I really am. I just did what I was told to. If I had known that they were your family, I wouldn't have killed them, I would have helped you. I promise. But we have to go, now. The sun is setting and the clouds are grey, it's going to get dark and rain soon. And you can't survive on your own" I said while trying to pull (Y/N)

"NO!! I'D RATHER DIE THAN GO THAN GO WITH YOU" (Y/N) shouted while pulling her arm away and ran away from me
