Jealousy

Yuzu's POV

Right when (Y/N) ran away, I immediately went after her but for some reason she was a step ahead of me. I tried to look for her but she was no where to be found. Until, I heard some people talking in Japanese.

When I heard there were people talking in Japanese, I immediately went towards the voices because who knows that (Y/N) was caught by the Japanese people. And turns out, I was right. (Y/N) was caught by the other Japanese soldiers

But what I didn't expect was that there was Shoma, my assistant. Not only that, but I saw that Shoma was carrying what seems to be an injured (Y/N) like bridal-style. And to be honest, I was a bit jealous, I feel like that that should be me, not Shoma.

But I can't do anything because if I went out there and punch Shoma, they might notice that something is off. So, I decided to just act natural and tell Shoma that the girl he's carrying escaped from the other soldiers at the main prison cell and that I was told to go get her.

"Shoma-kun, what are you doing here?" I asked, pretending not knowing (Y/N)

"Oh, Yuzu-san, I was just looking for you but when I saw that these 2 men nearly killed this girl, I immediately stopped looking for you to stop them" Shoma said while turning around to face me

"Ahh, that girl escaped from our main prison, the general told me to fetch her. I'm glad that you stopped these men from killing her. The general wants to recruit her." I said while walking towards Shoma and the 2 soldiers

"Well, it must be fate that I saved her. Otherwise, the general might get angry and punish these 2" Shoma said while walking towards me

"Yeah, here, let me carry her, you've done a good job saving her" I said while taking (Y/N) from Shoma

"Alright then, let's go back together" Shoma said while handing (Y/N) over to me gently

"Yeah, let's go. Oh and Shoma, this girl will be training with you starting tomorrow" I said while starting to walk back to the base

"What?! So soon?! But she's injured. Don't you think she should rest for a day before we start training?" Shoma ask like he was worried

"No, we have no time. We have to train her as soon as possible because the general said that he has a strong feeling that the Indonesian will fight back especially since the news about Nagasaki and Hiroshima being bombed has spread all over Indonesia" I said

"Well, can you at least postpone her training till tomorrow afternoon, after lunch?" Shoma pleaded

"Fine then, now go and head to bed, I'll put her into her bed" I said while going into the tent

"Alright Yuzu-san, good night. Take care" Shoma said while going back to his tent

After Shoma and the 2 soldiers left, I made sure that there was no-one else around then I brought (Y/N) into my tent, laid her gently on the "bed", tied her arms (just in case if she tries to escape when she wakes up), then tuck her into bed, and finally kissed her forehead while whispering something into her her

"You have no idea how much you worry me and not only that seeing you in Shoma's arms hurt me and you didn't know how much I wanted to punch him for carrying you" I said while kissing (Y/N)'s forehead and then leaving her to sleep
