"They say blood is thicker than water but i remember plenty of times when water was there, but blood wasnt."

Drops of ice cream splattered the table, the pancake oozing with chocolate sauce and cookie dough melting with cream.
From across me, Zack sat a spoon in his hand and his sundae half empty the glass cup stained with strawberry sauce. He licked his lips grinning wide and taking in another spoonful.
"Will you ever stop eating?" I complained as he shook his head and started on the waffle.
The chain that sat upon his neck shone in the brightly lit room his black fitted shirt looking newly ironed against the rumpled blue jeans he wore.
A mark ran down from his chin to the centre of his neck that had recently come from an assignment in Dubai, his lips tinted pink from the ice- cream he continued eating."Fine I'll stop now. But im getting this packed for home." He looked down at the table filled with desert almost drooling with greed.
Looking back up and winking as i scowled at him in disbelief. "The guy on the other table is staring at you Alia. Dont look back yet." He balanced his chin on his hands raising his brows at a table behind.Turning to see a boy with dusty brown hair and darker brown eyes looking fixedly in our direction. After noticing we realised, he averted his attention to the man sitting in front of him glancing over again. "Who is he?" I questioned facing Zack once again who had started on his waffle again.
"Charlie Kaiser, 20 year old student in Cambridge University originally Mexican but his parents moved here 6 years before he was born with his older brother Adam Kaiser." He took a breath looking at Charlie then proceeding. "He studies law but only because his father wants him to his actual dream is to become an engineer, drives a Toyota Prius in white and has a sister names Sarah i presume. She's younger than him and he feels it necessary to be overly protective over her, hates all guys who even take a glance at her."
I stopped him in the middle, impressed with the knowledge he had over the stranger he'd never met before. "Then why is he staring at me?" Zack frowned putting his spoon down and clasping his fingers together. He watched me intently sighing, "because you clearly look good to him." He rolled his eyes and motioned a waiter to come forth and pack the left overs before picking up his jacket and putting it on.
"Lets go before..." the rest of his sentence was unheard since he already began walking to the door, keys in one hand and takeout bag in the other.
I followed catching up just as we reached the outside, cold air now embracing us as we silently walked to the car.
The driver was still sat in the car even after our request on him joining us but he pleasantly turned down our plead.Zack placed the bag in the middle seat handing the guard back the keys and opening his window to put his hand outside of it.
"How did you know so much about him?" I asked after sometime facing towards him, he looked at me exhaling and running his fingers through his hair.
"Charlie Kaiser it said it on his university name badge which also held the Cambridge logo. 20 years old because of the way he held himself, mature enough to be out of teenage years but still his posture and face showed he's still learning." He tapped his fingers on the side of the car door. " a lawyer always wears black formal shoes even to casual events, especially students. He wants to be an engineer because the corner of his short was stained with oil which means he was checking the bonnet of a car and white enamel acrylic paint on his hands so he recently repainted his car."
Zack leaned forwards now closing the window and sitting with his ankle touching his knee. "Toyota keys were on the table closer to him so they could only be his and in-front of him was his father. Too old to be a brother and because they have the same eyes and jaw structure. Mexican because of the accent his father has and the flag is tattooed on his left ankle. His siblings are Sarah and Adam because their names are also tattooed on his neck, however, Sarah could be his mother but why would he have the brother and mothers name together."
His eyebrows knotted together as he pulled out his phone swiping away a text message displayed on the screen and resuming. "The fathers names Alejandro Kaiser it says it on his Briefcase and his personalised wrist watch." Zack spoke so quickly but his observational skills were almost as excellent as Noah who he had learnt it all from.
Everything seemed to make sense now that he'd explained it.
The bodyguard rolled into the underground carpark darkness once again surrounding us as he stopped. Zack got out first and came round to my door, opening it to say, "so are we done now your majesty? Are do you have more questions?" He laughed, enthusiastically turning and marching towards the double doors opening towards the ground floor lobby. The guard waited for me to get out closing the door behind and following me in, after chuckling then awkwardly scratching the back of his head for listening to what Zack and i were saying.
Inside, the lobby was warm and light with large chandeliers. The marble floors were a pearly white so clean our faces could be seen reflecting in them.
At the far end a receptionist sat and a lift was directly across with a guard stood upon it his face stern with concentration. His biceps were tensed on either side of him and his black shirt clung to his controlled abs.
Zack pressed the lift button and stood waiting for it to open as the cogs turned and wire churned on the inside of the metal machinery.
"Does he have any offences?" Going back to asking questions even after saying i wouldn't.
Zack smirked rocking on the heels of his feet before answering.
"Two months for drunken driving. Thats it, nothing else and no he's not a suspect before you ask." He stepped into the lift nodding his head to the side for me to get in with the body guard.*******************
