Yeah we can talk

Sorry about running out on you earlier. My mom had to go to the hospital.

Yeah she just gave birth to my baby brother. I decided to come back home because my entire family is there.

"Fuck just get on with what you were going to say!" I yelled at no one. I was pulling my hair and fidgeting in my seat because the suspense was killing me.

I love my family but since everyone is there I just left.

I just stare at my screen. "Are you fucking homophobic or?" I said with a 'The fuck' face.

As I prepare to type something, I hear a knock at the door.

"Shane can I come in?" I hear my mom ask.

"Yeah." I said as I closed the laptop. I can not let mom see that I'm talking to someone online. She thinks I need more friends when I enjoy being antisocial.

She walks in and closes the door. She takes a seat on my bed. I turn my chair around so I can face her.

"So..." I said awkwardly. She sighed.

"I know I said I was going to wait until dinner but I decided to have this talk now. Lucas and I have been seeing each other for about 4 months now." She said.

I just feel hate come over me. Don't get me wrong I love my mom to death but I hate her decisions. After dad, she said she was done dating and that it was just going to be me and her. Four guys later and here we are.

"How did you meet?" I asked, somewhat fearing the answer. She avoided eye contact with me.

"We met at a bar." I just got angry.

"Mom you started drinking again?"

She just stared off like she didn't hear my question. She started drinking and dating all these guys when she found out my dad was cheating. She buried herself in liquor. She stopped drinking when she got into a car accident one night coming from the bar.

"I'm okay honey." She tried to reassure me. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"If you say so." I said. She got up and started walking towards the door.

"I'm going to order the pizza soon." I just nodded and she left.

I quickly opened my laptop.

My heart was racing when I saw the 3 dots that appear when someone is typing a message. The wait of receiving the message was like waiting an eternity. Finally my wait was over.

I don't mind that you are gay. Some of my friends are gay I have no problem with it as long as you don't like me cause I'm straight.
