Shane's POV

I got up and walked back into the dance. I can't believe that just happened.

When I walked back in, I see Ryan with his girlfriend. He's smiling and laughing with her as if nothing happened between us. He glances over at me.

Ryan's POV

I glance over at Shane and I can see the hurt in his eyes. I tore away from his graze and focused on my girlfriend.

I pull her in for a kiss. She breaks away.

"What was that for?" She asked.

"Just saying I love you even though you drive me nuts." I replied. I gave her a peck on the cheek while ignoring my body to go over to Shane and make out with him.

Shane's POV

I just stare at Ryan and his girlfriend as they made up over the fight they had earlier. I am at a lost for words.

"Shane? Hellooo shane?" I hear a male's voice call out to me.

"Oh hey Mason. I didn't see you there." I said awkwardly.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry about earlier. I shouldn't have pushed myself on you like that. I just wanted us to have a thing because I think you're cute. I hope we can have a thing in the future together if you're willing to give me a chance to prove myself worthy." He said.

"Apology accepted and we will see Mason. But now isn't a good time." I told him. I started to walk away and he grabbed my hand.

I turn around and he pulled me in for a kissed. It happened so fast that I stood there frozen, not knowing what to do. He breaks the kiss.

Ryan's POV

I was with Leila and some of my friends when I see shane talking to that guy he was with earlier. I see shane walk away but the guy grabbed his arm, pulled him back, and kissed him.

I felt anger wash over me as I watched them kissed.

Shane's POV

I back away from Mason with a shocked look on my face.

"Mason I-" I was cut off by Arianna coming out of no where with Larke.

"Hey guys the dance is almost over so we are about to leave." She said. She grabbed my hand to pull me in the direction of the doors.

Once we were in the car, I broke. The tears just poured from my eyes like a water fall.

"Shane what's wrong?"

"Can we t-talk about i-it later?" I stuttered as the tears just kept falling.

"Yeah." She said.

"Larke do you mind?" She asked.

I'm guessing she was gonna go to his house.

"No I don't. I'll drop you guys off." He said.

"Thanks."

We pull up to Ari's place. I get out the car and rush inside. Her parents were out for their anniversary so no one was home. I rush up to her room.

Arianna's POV

Shane rushed out the car.

"What could have happened?" I said aloud.
