Starstruck/ Zach Herron

School had just ended and the boys have a break until they start touring again. Corbyn and Jonah left to spend time with their family, while Zach, Daniel and Jack stayed in California with their families.

Today I'm going to hang out with Zach, Jack, and Daniel at Daniel's apartment.
I get up out of bed and walk over to my closet and pull out black high waisted shorts and a checkered top along with white slip on vans. I brush my hair and leave it down and walk downstairs.

I get an Uber and wait for it to arrive at my door. While waiting I grab a granola bar to snack on. Soon the Uber arrives and I walk out the door and I to the car, I tell the Uber the address to the complex and wait patiently during the drive.

I arrive at the apartments and pay the Uber. I step out of the car and make my way inside, I then go up to the elevator and make my way to the apartment door.

I knock a couple times and wait for someone to open the door. Keri opens the door and has the biggest smile plastered onto her face. I smile as I see her smile.

"Hi Cameron, it's nice to see you. Come in." As I walk in she gives me a hug and squeezes me tightly.

"Can't breathe" I cough and try to catch my breath.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry I get a little excited when someone comes over."
I laugh as she apologizes

"Oh no it's fine" I say walking inside. I look around the room and see a neat living room and kitchen.

Daniel and Zach exit Daniel's room and make their way towards Keri and I. We all exchange smiles and Zach and I make eye contact for what seems like forever. We always seem to be staring into each others eyes and it's kinda freaking me out.

"Today we're going to a carnival." Daniel says.

"We're meeting up with Tessa Brooks, Loren , Bryana and many other people" Zach says. As the word Loren rolls off his tongue, I mentally cringe thinking about how I have to spend a day with her.

Daniel looks at me with a look of sorrow from knowing that's Loren is joining us.

"Okay, that'd be fun." I say putting a fake smile on my face. This is going to be a long day.

"Okay, lets go then" Zach says walking towards the door. I say goodbye to Keri and then follow Zach. As I walk Daniel grabs my wrist and pulls us behind Zach so we're at a good distance away from another.

"I tried to say no in hanging out with all those girls today, especially Loren. He wouldn't listen and I have to watch out for him. I'm so sorry Cameron" Daniel apologizes.

"No worries Daniel, I'll get through it. I'll have you to talk to." I smile, as does he. We catch up to Zach and are soon out of the complex.

We all get out of the car and wait for the three girls to arrive. Daniel and I decide to go on the carousel while Zach chooses to wait for them. I roll my eyes.

I grab Daniel's hand and we skip to the line for the ride. I laugh at how childish we are. As the gate opens to go on the ride I start to feel a wave of happiness run through my body. This just reminds me of when I was 5 and had no worries in the world. I was always happy and loved carousel rides.

I look at what animals there are to choose from and I pick a seahorse because water animals are cool. Daniel pick a giraffe which really isn't a surprise. We get seated and wait for the ride to start. The ride slowly moves and gets faster and faster. Daniel and I start laughing like crazy and probably looks stupid. I turn my head to see Zach talking to Loren and feel myself start to get jealous.

Why does he have to like her? Couldn't it be me instead? The ride comes to a stop and I hop off the seahorse.

I look at Daniel to see him frowning at me.

"I'm so sorry Cameron. If anything happens you can leave whenever you want"

"Thank you Daniel, I just wish he didn't  invite Loren"

"Me too"

We walk up to Zach and Loren in a deep conversation and awkwardly wait until they are done. Zach looks at me and smiles .

"Loren you remember Cameron right?" Zach asks

Loren nods and looks at me.

I then realize that this is going to be a long day...
