When something goes wrong

There was something disturbing in your apartment as you opened the door. It was impossible to know what it was, although you'd felt it the past few days. It was not the place, you kinda thought it was you. You just felt odd.

In fact, you barely heard from your friends, you stayed in your room in your free time and your hear hurt. You weren't yourself. "Jagi? What's wrong?" Kyungsoo asked you one night, while you two decided to "watch" some movies. "Nothing... why do you ask?" You turned to him, receiving a forehead kiss in return. "It's just that.. Lately you haven't been yourself. I worry, you know? How can I make you happy?" You didn't answer straight away, you just let him snuggle next to you and he gave you little pecks on your neck from time to time. "Flowers. If they don't help me cheer up at least they make the room brighter..."

You just felt uneasy. Work was the same as usual but you hated that. You needed something out of the ordinary, something to end the monotony. Why you were depressed? You didn't know, but it happened sometimes. He is always away... I need him. You constantly thought, laying in bed, staring at the ceiling. The fact was that Kyungsoo had been very busy with promotions and a new album and movies and dramas. I understand it's his job... but sometimes I just want a kiss.

Lost in thoughts, you started to fall asleep, probably starting to dream with your busy boyfriend when a strange smell woke you up. "What is that..." You sniffed "Do I smell... flowers? No.. it's more like a garden". You stood up dropping the cover on the floor, and headed towards the living room not expecting anything, just you and your funny brain confusing your senses. "Is... is someone here?" You asked, hearing how your voice was shaking in the last words. "It's me babe, come here" You heard his voice, following it. You expected to find a dark room, with nothing at all, just the normal furniture and your boyfriend making himself some tea, after a tiring day, not the few candles you had, scattered around the room, beautiful flowers of all colors and sizes in every corner, furniture or even on the floor awaited you, surrounding your dashing boyfriend who stood in the middle of the room, with a beautiful Dahlia in his hands. "You said flowers, right Y/N? I thought you might needed a few more to brighten more than a room"
"Kyungsoo... what did you... Why?" You could barely speak, he really surprised you. You didn't even think he remembered the flower thing, having passed a few days since that conversation. "You know jagi... that you can turn to me whenever things go wrong. I'll be here to guard your back" He kissed your forehead, giving you the flower in his hands and hugged you for a few minutes, stopping time, stopping any thought you had, just enjoying the beautiful garden he managed to bring to your place. "I love you jagi, everything will be alright. I'm here"
