'Do you think she'll say yes?' Kyungsoo looked troubled as he asked his best friend Baekhyun. 'Do you think I stand a chance?' 'Why wouldn't you? I told you I always see her looking at you, and smiling when you catch her. And blushing...' 'Okay, okay. I got it. I just... I'm scared of the possibility...' The boy had never liked someone the way he liked her. She was different from all the girls he had met, different in a good way. He liked watching her play sports or watching her draw in arts class. But it wasn't always like that, "she was too good for him" and he had given up since the first minute.. 'Kyungsoo, you've said it a million times. She is different and my gut tells me she likes you too'.
It's always hard to find out if someone likes you back without risking being found. And that's why it took Kyungsoo two years on asking the girl that stole his heart; he didn't want to make a move without knowing he stood a chance. "Excuse me?" She heard a soft voice behind her, her heart skipping a beat. "Y-yes?" She turned, shyly looking. Her heart stopped again, looking at the boy that had been stealing her glances for a while now. "I'-m... well.. I wanted to... you probably already got a date but..." She hadn't noticed until she heard him tripping on his words, how nervous he was, just as much as her. The dark haired boy was holding a bouquet of flowers, as his cheeks flushed and hands shook. "I don't... I've been waiting.." She whispered, risking her only chance. In her mind, she was the one who didn't stand a chance. "W-waiting? For...me?" "Yes... I've been waiting... Kyungsoo. To the point I thought my dreams were impossible"
He was shocked, he had to take a few deep breaths before smiling and hugging her out of a sudden. It was like a dream, the way he had wished for two years for it to be. He didn't want to let go, he didn't want that moment to stop. "Kyungsoo?" She asked, hugging him back. "What's wrong?" "So you'll go with me? You'll be my girlfriend?" His voice was barely a whisper, almost impossible to hear him under the noise of the bell and the students getting out of class. "Of course... Yes!" Slowly, Kyungsoo broke the embrace, holding her shoulders as he stared into her eyes. "Don't ever think your dreams are impossible... that they are failing. I'll be here for you, I'll always love you"
