Friday. Late afternoon.

My head shot up at the sound of my alarm filling my room. I realised I was sweating and I was gasping for breath.

That's weird, I don't remember dreaming of anything horrible.

I took a shower and started getting ready for our movie at five o'clock. There had been a half day, but we had cancelled our lunch plan because Kyla had been complaining of a headache and she wanted to take a nap first. I had set my alarm for half past three. I wore my jeans and a sleeveless blue blouse. I slipped on my brown Charles & Keith flats and wore my watch.

I put on some mascara, a bit of eye shadow and a light pink lip gloss. I never really wore makeup. I think that was mostly because Mum never did, so I never bothered about makeup. She would just dust her face with powder and wear a lipstick. Usually Kyla did my makeup as she was pretty damn good at it. Allison wasn't a big fan of makeup either but she still wore it.

At around fifteen minutes to five, I heard a loud car horn. I pushed my curtains aside to see Allison's car waiting at the curb. Suddenly, the horn sounded again at least five more times. I scrunched up my face in annoyance and headed downstairs to the kitchen.

"You better hurry or else they might just leave you." Mum chuckled. "Have fun sweetie."

"Bye Mum!"

I jumped into the back seat and buckled myself in.

"Took you long enough," Kyla said.

"I barely took two minutes," I said. "You just wanted to press the horn like the silly child you are."

Allison let out a laugh and Kyla stuck her tongue out at me.

"Austin and Joshua are already at the theatre. I think they're buying up all the food." Allison started driving.

"Of course they are", I said. "They're Austin and Joshua."

We reached the theatre just in time for the movie. It was a fun movie with all the classic dinosaur scenes, especially the scene resembling the Dennis Nedry scene in the first movie. We grabbed our dinner from McDonald's and decided to eat it at the park.

"I love the Jurassic Park franchise and all, but honestly Chris Pratt dominated this movie with his handsomeness," Kyla said with a dreamy look on her face.

"Well, she's right." I backed Kyla. "But Owen Grady cannot beat the Star-Lord."

"Yeah man, Star-Lord is the funniest." Joshua stood up and tried to dance the way Peter Quill did at the end of Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 1.

"You can't dance to save your life bro." Austin flicked a fry at him.

More like my fry.

"Hey!" I smacked him on his shoulder. "Waste your own fry on Josh."

"Sorry." Austin grinned sheepishly.
