Authors POV
Astrid was in her car on the way to the shop to get some food for her and Hiccup. She was driving down the main road when she saw red lights Infront of her, so she stopped. Even though she stopped doesn't mean everyone else will. Another car coming straight for her was out of control and hit her car as a head on collision. Astrid was injured pretty bad, the other driver was fine though. He got out of his car and called 911.
Time skip
The ambulance arrived and arrived at Astrids car. She had an obvious broken leg, bruised ribs and cuts and bruises also on her body. Everywhere.
"We need you to stay awake mam." The paramedic told her.
"I want Hiccup."
She slowly and painfully grabbed her phone and called Hiccup.
"Hey Babe, everything ok?"
"Hello sir, this is a paramedic. I'm afraid Astrid has been in an accident on the main road, she wants you here please sir."
"Of course. On my way."
Another time skip
Hiccup had just arrived and saw the state Astrid was in.
"Hiccup." Astrid said.
"Oh Thor Milady what happened to you?"
You could tell Astrid was about to fall asleep.
"Stay awake mam. Son I need you to make sure she doesn't fall asleep."
"Sure." Hiccup nodded.
Astrid slowly began to close her eyes.
"Stay awake babe you're ok."

Time skip
Astrid was now in hospital, resting with her leg in a cast and Hiccup by her side. She was recovering well but still had to be in bed. She was fine though as long as Hiccup was with her.
