Authors POV
"Hiccup, let me go with you." Astrid asked.
"What no way."
"Hiccup, please, you said you're not much of a swimmer so just let us work together. Please." Astrid begged.
"Fine, let's go."
Astrid got the death song amber goggles and went with Hiccup into the dome.
"Please stick with me Astrid" Hiccup asked.
"I'll be fine." She grabbed his hand and they jumped into the water.
Time skip
They had gotten rid of 3 chains and had one left. That was of course before the Viggo and Ryker and the hunters began shooting at them. Hiccup and Astrid swam back to the dome. They took a deep breath. "You ok?" Hiccup asked. "Yeah, you?" He nodded. "Ok one more chain, you ready." They jumped back in and swam to the chain. Hiccup poured the substance onto the chain and freed the dragon. They began swimming back until Astrid noticed the boulder heading for Hiccup. She tried to warm him but couldn't talk underwater, so she done what any Hofferson would do. She pushed out of the way, and got hit. Hiccup turned around to see Astrid unconscious and blood coming out of her head. "Mmmm" he muffled. He grabbed Astrid by the waist and swam back to the dome. He took of his helmet and her's as well. "Astrid?" He shook her shoulders. They were being lifted up until the chain broke and the dome fell to the ocean floor. Hiccup grabbed onto Astrid as he said goodbye to toothless who came down and tried to rescue them. "I know bud, I wouldn't leave you either." He took his last breath and look back at Astrid, worrying about all that blood in the water. Suddenly, he saw the submariper heading for them he yelled toothless but lost air case if it. And it all faded black.
"We need to get them out quickly." Fishlegs said.
"We got this barf, belch!" The zibbleback opened the dome and Fishlegs got Hiccup out and Tuffnut got Astrid.
After a few seconds Hiccup woke up, gasping for air. "Astrid?" He asked.
"She's not coming back!" Tuffnut said and he began CPR on her.
"She hit her head." Hiccup informed them. They started to bandage her head.
Time skip cause I'm lazy
Astrid began to stir with the gang round her bed.
"Easy Astrid, you hut your head on a boulder."
I layed back down and started to fall asleep again.
I chuckled. "Guys go get some rest, I'll see you in the morning."
They all left and I was alone with Astrid. I kissed her head and went downstairs and slept laying on toothless.
