There and Back

Chapter 13

Kristina's POV

Sam, James and Jackie came running in, Jackie getting to me first and explained everything that happened. I felt hot tears running down my face, I had been there for a month in coma. Sam gripped my hand and looked at me sadly. He looked like he hadn't shaved for ever. Wait was he?

" Sam, did you stay with me all month?" I got out.

He nodded his head and sniffled, " Your too special to me, I didn't want to leave your side, and I didn't all month."

" Sam." I said leaning up to kiss his cheek.

" He wouldn't leave." James said, " We were all worried sick about you. You had some nasty blows."

" I never wanted to see him." I started sobbing, " He ruined everything like he did in year seven. I wish he was never born."

James looked at Sam while I continued rabbiting and James and Jackie left.

Sam held my hand and gently started to rub it with his thumb.

" Shh, it's alright." Sam said in a relaxing tone.

" Sam, I wanna go home." I sniffled.

" I know, but you have to stay here another 5 days." He replied calmly, " I'll be here the whole time. I promise."

" What about mum, and Kate?" I asked, sleepily.

" They'll be at the airport. I called them." He smiled, " Now go to sleep, you need to rest."

-5 Days Later-

Sam's POV

" Sam, Sam." I heard James whisper.

" What?" I mumbled.

" We signed the papers, Kristina can come out!"

I perked up and whisper yelled, " No way!"

" Yes way, and we've booked you flight for tomorrow. Mum helped me pack your stuff up." James grinned.

" Thank you so much James." Did you get the ' thing'?" I asked, just in case Kristina heard us.

He nodded his head vigorously then walked out of the room. I sat there for a few minutes, looking out  at the view. Kristina was going to have the best night of her life tonight. I heard a groan behind me and turned to see Kristina just waking up.

" Morning Babe. " I said walking over and kissing her forehead gently.

" Can we leave this place now?" she mumbled.

I waited for a few moment then responded, " Yes."

" What?! No way!" She stated, bouncing on the bed.

" James and Jackie got the papers signed. And, we go home tomorrow." I replied.

" Did James pack our stuff?" She asked curiously.

" Yup." I said, popping the p.

" He's a star." Kristina smiled.

" Oh, and we're going on a date tonight." I stated, " Molly's gonna dress you up."

" Yay, now lets go!" She said, struggling to get out of bed. I walked over and put my arms under her legs and the other under her waist, and lifted her up.

" You're very light you know." I said, gently brushing my lips on hers.

" No, you're just strong." She giggled, " And I like that."

I grinned and put her down, snaking my arm around her as we walked down the hall. A few nurses waved at us and stopped to say stay safe, or feel better soon. We finally reached to door and stepped into the fresh air. We walked to the car that I was using( Jackie lean't it to me) and drove off.

We finally arrived at James' house and parked in their driveway, I never took the time to see how pretty it was. I hopped out of the car and ran over to help Kristina out. I ended up giving her a piggyback to the main party of the house. I hope she enjoys tonight...

-That Night-

" Ready Sam?" James asked me, looking me over one more time.

" I guess." I replied nervously.

" Do you have the shiny thing?" He asked.

I nodded my head and James smiled, we walked down the stairs and waited for kristina and Molly to show up. I took about two minutes for Molly to finally arrive around the corner and following her was Kristina. She looked gorgeous. She had a lovely black dress on with some white toms, black earings and a necklace saying, Believe. She troted down the stairs and held onto my arm. I grinned down at her and she back at me. We stepped out of the house and walked to the car.

" Where are we going?" She asked.

" You'll see." I said, making my way to a new italian restauraunt in town.

I finally found it and parked the closest to the door possible. I stepped out and walked over to Kristina and held open her door. Once she stepped outside, she gaped at where we were.

" S-sam, y-you didn't need to bring me here!" She exclaimed turning to face me.

I nodded my head, picked her up and brought her in. I reserved a spot so I didn't take too long to find a spot and order.

-1 hour later-

Kristina's POV

We stepped out of the restauraunt and made our way to the car. I can't believe Sam brought me here and paid for everything.  Sam started the car and off we went but only, the wrong way.

" Sam, where are we..." I started but he put a finger on my mouth and kept driving.

After what seemed like hours of driving, Sam stopped the car and stepped out. I looked out the window but it was hard to make things out. Sam opened my door, I stepped out and he picked me up in bridal position.

" Sam." I giggled, " Where are w..." but I stopped, he brouhgt me to the beach.

I love beaches, I find them so romantic. Sam walked over to the shore and lay me down in the sand. He stayed standing and I stood back up.

" Sam whats" I asked-ish. Before I could finish though, he brought out a little box and got on one knee.

" Kristina, I've been with you for six months and over the month in your coma, I finally figured myself out. You mean the world to me and well, I want you to know just how must you mean, so all I have to say is, I promise." Sam said, opening the box.

Inside was a gold ring with a diamond in it. He looked up at me and smiled.

" Oh my god Sam." I said, tears filling up my eyes, " I promise to love you from now until death.,"

He flashed his amazing white toothed smile,stood up and took the ring out of the box. I held out my hand and he slid it onto my finger. I couldn't hold it in. The tears rolled down my face. Sam leaned in and his lips found mine. We stood there together for about five minutes and Sam quietly murmured, " I promise."
