Mark smiled at them. "Hi, I'm Mark."
Soon enough they became best friends.

Mark and Jackson entered Mrs. Tuan's car to Mark's home for a sleepover.
Since they met, their parents had become friends and they agreed to let the boys have a sleepover every Friday.
"So boys how was your day?"
"It was very nice. I made some new friends, mom!"
"Yeah. We had a lot of fun, Aunty Emily."
"That's nice to hear."

The boys were on Mark's bed watching 'Cars 3'.
Suddenly Jackson started crying. Mark got startled but when he saw Jackson, he wrapped him in a big hug.
"What happened?"
"M-my dog-g d-died!" He stuttered.
Mark's eyes widened. "Nana died? The dog you got for Christmas?"
Jackson nodded as tears spilled from Mark's eyes. The boys continued to cry for a few more minutes before Jackson started to wipe his tears.
The boys pulled away. "Thank you, Markie hyung."
The movie was still on, although it was further along and they were confused they continued to watch.
"Markie hyung?"
"Hmmm?"
"Can you promise to hug me whenever I'm sad?" Jackson said shyly blushing.
Mark stuck his pinky out smiling. "I promise to hug you when you're sad." Jackson connected their pinkies with a big grin.
