Jackson stared at Mark; Mark stared at Jackson. They were at the airport waiting for Mrs. Wang and Jackson's flight to China. Mark was only there because he had begged Mrs. Wang to say goodbye to Jackson.
Both boys were extremely sad because one was moving away.
'Why? As soon as I was happy...as soon as i told him how i felt. That's when he has to leave....why?'
'The day he told me that he liked me....we never even got to become official...I had to leave. I wish mom planned this slowly. I hate her so much.'
'I love you.' They both thought at the same time. 'I'll miss you.'

Mark watched Jackson and his mom get up. He watched them walk onto the airplane without waving, smiling or even turning back. His heart stung a bit knowing that Jackson didn't look at him one last time.
Little did he know that his view on the most important things to him would change in only 7 years.
