Mark and Jackson decided to talk a walk in the city that day. Both boys did not have to go to work that day so they planned a date; them walking around and having as much fun as possible while doing as much dumb things as possible. 

Mark snorted and ran away quickly as Jackson took a piece of some stranger's bagel and ran for his life. The person sighed but didn't care enough to chase him for it. So far, Mark had given a stranger a hug, tried several ridiculous pick up lines on a few people and high-fived a little girl who was very confused. But Jackson had the worse, he cartwheeled over to a girl and asked her her name, winked at an old woman who later chased him threatening to hit him with her purse and just stole piece of a bagel. The poor unsuspecting people had no idea what was going on or the fact that this was what boyfriends did for fun.

Although the street was busy, the continued running acting like little children. Noticing that the traffic light was red, Mark ran across the street but Jackson attempted to follow without realizing that the light was red. 

Hearing a loud honk, he froze only to see an SUV coming his way. Bracing for the worst, he felt himself being thrown onto the sidewalk. 

"MARK?" he yelled, not seeing anywhere. Panicking, he sat up looking to be met with confused stares and cars driving quickly by. Soon he felt a tap on the back of his head followed by a "shut up" from a familiar voice. "Mark!" he spun around, shocked. "I THOUGHT YOU GOT HIT!!" 

"Shut up!" Mark winced at his loudness. "I'm not stupid. In the movies they always push the other out of the way causing themselves to get hit but i pulled you backwards to me." He pushed his hair back. "Help me up please, i saved your life."

Jackson held Mark's hand while they walked home giving up on causing mischief. "Promise to keep me safe?" Mark nodded kissing his cheek. "Of course!"
