3 years later...
Mark and Jackson were in Mark's room upstairs. Their parents were downstairs and they were quarrelling very loudly. They had been at each others throats for a while now but the boys ignored it.
Mark lay flat on the bed while Jackson sat cross-legged next to him. Mark groaned. "I'm so bored..."
"Me too hyung."
"I can't believe that Youngjae left."
"He left?!"
"Yup. Everyone was pretty sad when we heard. Especially Jaebum since it was rumored that they were dating or something."
"I kinda shipped them though."
"Me too."
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! EXPLAIN IT!!"
"Look I'm sorry-"
"IS THAT ALL THAT YOU CAN SAY?! SORRY!? DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO EMILY HUH?! HUH!?"
The screaming and arguing got louder. The boys didn't understand why adults were so complicated. Why couldn't they just forgive each other and make up? Jackson and Mark always did that and they were fine.
"-SO HELP ME I'LL LEAVE THIS COUNTRY!"
Mark shot up as he heard those words. "JackJack? Did you hear that?"
Jackson shrugged. "You know my mom. She over exaggerates a lot."
"But still..."
"Don't worry I promise to never leave you." Jackson said reading Mark's mind.
Mark smiled." You amazing me you know, Wang."
"Thank you, Tuan."
The both smiled and laughed and enjoyed themselves despite the argument going on downstairs.
