Curse Of The Jewel (On Hold)

Chapter 5

"Guys, are you sure we should go in?" Ashleigh asked a little nervous.

"It'll be fine, Ash!" Elijah reassured her and they all go further in.

It kept getting darker and darker as they went further. Ashleigh was getting more scared by the second and kept getting closer with the group.

"Guys, do you hear that?" Kimberly asked as it sounds they're getting closer to rushing water.

"Yeah, is there a secret cavern in here somewhere?" Lysa asked getting a little too excited.

As the group got closer to the water, it got louder and louder until they found where it was coming from. It was a giant, hidden waterfall that was glistening with diamonds and jewels all around. Everyone looked in awe at this sight.

"How can something so beautiful be hidden?" Ashleigh asked as the group got closer to the water.

"What if this is supposed to be hidden? Maybe we should go.." Kimberly was getting scared now, tugging at her older brother's jacket.

Suddenly, everyone hears an echo from within the cavern.

"What was that?" Rebecca asked.

"Hello? Is someone here?" the echo was heard once more.

Everyone turned to a shadowy corner of the area and saw a figure that looked like a girl around their age.

"It's okay, you can come out." Lysa says in a calming voice, walking slowly to the figure.

She slowly walks out of the corner in rugged clothes as if she had been here for a while.

"Hi... I'm Luci..." the girl said while stuttering.

"Hi Luci, I'm Kimberly and these are my friends and brother, Elijah, Rebecca, Ashleigh, and Lysa."️ she introduced herself and all her friends to the little girl.

"Je suis très timide, mais c'est un plaisir de vous rencontrer." Luci said, everyone looked at her confused, everyone but Ashleigh.

"It's okay, there's no need to be shy, we're nice. It's also nice to meet you too." Ashleigh said in a calm tone.

"She understands French?" Lysa whispered in Elijah's ear and he nodded.

After getting to know Luci for a while, everyone had found at least five jewels; each looking unique. What they didn't know is something was hiding inside them, but what?

"It was truly nice meeting you Luci, but we should really start heading back to camp. Would you like to come?" asked Rebecca as they got up from the ground.

"Oh my gosh, really? I would love that!" Luci replied with joy in her eyes.

Everyone started off from the waterfall and back the way they came in.
