Ashleigh Cameron Lyeh:
Fifteen year old daughter of Jake Lyeh and Chelsee Jackson Lyeh. She grew up in Le Havre, France. She moved to Alberta, Canada when she was ten years old and made many new friends and taught them some French. She becomes homeschooled around the same time her family moves and lives out her life in a new place.
Elijah Carson:
Sixteen years old and lives in Alberta, Canada. Best friend to Ashleigh Lyeh, Rebecca Jie, and Lysa Kim and older brother to Kimberly Carson. Attending Riverside High, he gets straight A's but has a bad side.

Ashleigh has lived in Canada for five years now. She's made friends with Elijah Carson, his younger sister, Kimberly, and meets his friends, Lysa and Rebecca. One day after school, the four friends decide to take Ashleigh on a surprise camping trip. They all go on a hike up the mountain and discover a cave, different from others they have seen. What happens in the end?
