Curse Of The Jewel (On Hold)

Chapter 8

Lysa walked closer to examine the rocks Ashleigh and Elijah brought back.

"Oh my gosh, guys, it looks like you got a diamond or some jewel!" Lysa exclaimed.

"Are you sure?" Ashleigh asked as she put the rocks down.

"Um, yeah." Lysa added on as she grabbed the jewel.

"It looks like a ruby!" Luci said getting up from her spot.

"You're right Luci." Ashleigh says, grabbing and examining the jewel.

"Oh my gosh..." Luci added on while the others looked at her confused.

"Guys, it looks just like my necklace!" she continued, as she grabbed the necklace from around her neck and everyone looked shocked.

"What does it do?" Kimberly asked.

"It does this." Luci inhaled deeply as her necklace lit up and she suddenly transformed into a red-coated, blue-eyed, wolf and everyone stood in awe then she turned back into her normal self.

"How the heck did you do that?!" Kimberly asked in shock.

"It's all thanks to this ruby and the waterfall." Luci said, putting the necklace back how she had it.

"Is that why we found you in that cavern?" Lysa asked and Luci nodded.

After a while of trying to start a fire, it finally works and the group has heat.

"About time, Elijah." Kimberly says, rolling her eyes.

"Maybe you could just calm down, at least we won't freeze to death." Elijah replied, starting to get annoyed with his little sister.

"Can you both just stop fighting? We need to find a way out before we starve." Lysa added, getting annoyed at the two's bickering.

"All of you stop! We're not going to get anything done if we're all fighting! I want to get out of here as much as the next person!" Ashleigh added, hoping to stop the fighting.

"Guys, I think I fo-" before Luci could finish her sentence, her necklace lit up and she turned into her wolf form. She let out a bark and everyone went silent.

"Thank you." she added on, turning back into her human form with a sigh. "Ashleigh is right, if we keep all this fighting up, nothing is going to get done.  Plus, I think I found a way out back near the cavern." Luci continued and everyone looked towards her in shock.

"What are we waiting for? Let's find a way out this freaking cave!" Elijah said, getting up from his position.

"I wouldn't get too cocky if I were you, it's more dangerous than you think." an unfamiliar voice said and everyone looked around in confusion.

"Kandice?" Luci looked over to where the voice came from.

"The one and only." she said as she walked from the corner with a small smirk.

"What do you want, and why are you here?" Luci asked, clearly with frustration in her voice.

"One question at a time dear." Kandice said, in a dramatic tone.

"Classic Kandice, always trying to be smart and the bad one. We both know this isn't you." Luci added on as her necklace started to glow and everyone else backed away, clearly seeing how bad things were about to get.

"Oh dear, nothing bad has happened. I'm the same Kandice I always was, and always will be." she said as she walked closer to Luci.

Luci looked at Kandice's necklace and noticed it had turned black and tried to grab it from off her neck.

"Not so fast, little one. No one is aloud to touch this necklace." Kandice added as she stroked Luci's hair and turned back to where she came from. "You have ten minutes to decide with your friends if you want my help or not to get out. After all, I am one of the few that know their way around this cave." she added then disappeared.

"Luci, who was that?" Ashleigh asked, walking over to her.

"Someone who is not who she says she is." Luci replied, getting a worried look on her face.

"Well what are we going to do? Sit here and starve to death, or go with her and get out?"
