Curse Of The Jewel (On Hold)

Chapter 6

"Guys, what the heck was that?!" Lysa asked in surprise while they were walking.

"I don't know, it sounded like rocks?" Elijah questioned just as surprised as her.

"Guys! Look! We need to get out!" Rebecca says as rocks continue falling and piling up at the entrance. Everyone hurried to make it out, but they couldn't run fast enough.

"Nous allons tous mourir!" Ashleigh and Luci cried out in unison.

"Tout va bien, nous n'allons pas mourir. Respire juste Ashleigh." Ashleigh kept repeating over and over again until Elijah came over to try and calm her down.

After a while of trying to calm down Ashleigh and Luci, Elijah has tried to come up with a plan while Rebecca was trying to find an actual way out.

"Looks like it's pretty tight, no way we're getting out any time soon." Rebecca said after examining the rock slide.

"Does anyone have their phone?" Elijah asked looking up.

"Yeah, but there's no service." Lysa replies, still trying to get one bar.

"We're stuck with two French girls, no service, no light, no heat, no nothing!" Kimberly added, sliding down part of the wall.

"Not nothing, we have each other, and that's something. At least we have food and water." Elijah said, trying to make things a little better.

"Elijah, it's sweet and all that you're trying to make us feel better, but would you want to go with me to try and find some items to help through the night?" Ashleigh asked looking in his direction.

"Sure, we'll leave in a few minutes. Lysa, could you get us a couple bottles of water?" Elijah asked helping Ashleigh up.

Lysa went in her bag and grabbed a couple bottles of water and tossed them to Elijah.

"Thanks, Lysa." Elijah said tossing one of the bottles to Ashleigh.

"Thanks." she said opening the bottle and taking a sip.

"Okay, we'll be back soon. I'm leaving Kimberly in charge while we're gone." Elijah said as he and Ashleigh started walking farther into the cave again.

Meanwhile...

"Jake, I thought that Ashleigh was supposed to call when they got to the campsite?" Mrs. Lyeh asked her husband as she finished setting the table.

"Chelsee, don't worry. She probably just doesn't have any service, after all, they are in the woods." Mr. Lyeh replied, trying to make his wife feel better.

"I know, but what if something happens and they can't contact anyone?"

"Chelsee, please just calm down. If anything happens then Elijah will do something. His parents told me before they left he went to a survival school a few years ago." Mr. Lyeh said while taking a sip of his coffee.

"Luci, is there anything you want to eat? I have plenty of snacks." Lysa asked walking over to her.

"Sure! I'm really hungry." she replied with joy.

"Oh my gosh, that took forever! I can't believe we had to climb that wall just to get to these rocks." Ashleigh exclaims as they walk back to the group.

"At least we had fun doing it." Elijah says.

"Yep, minus all this." Ashleigh added on looking at their clothes and gives out a small laugh.

"There you guys are!" Kimberly says running up to give them a hug.

"What's that in with the rocks?" Lysa asked walking over to them.
