Lance woke up but in a different place. It was filled with lots of blue. He was slowly circling around to look at his surroundings. "Where am I?" He mumbled but bubbles came out while he was talking.

"WAIT WHAT?!? WHATS HAPPENING TO ME?" He yelled to himself. He looked down at himself to see a long blue tail with shiny designs on it.  "Nice..." Lance checked his silky tail fins out on the bottom.

Lance realized that he had chains on his tail and waist but it wasn't holding anything. "I've read about mermen and mermaids. So I guess... Am I an Alpha? Since I have the designs of an alpha. I think."

Suddenly someone else with a red tail was swimming to him quickly. Lance had the feeling to run- no swim. He swam away quickly. The red dot was swimming quicker than lance just by a few seconds. It was able to get Lance. Lance screamed in surprise. "Lance, why were you swimming away? It was like you were trying to quickly  swim away from a shark!" A Merman version of Keith appeared in front of Lance. Lance tilted his head in confusion. 'Why would someone like Keith care about me?' Lance wondered. He tried to swim past Keith but he blocked him.

"Where do you think your swimming off to? We have to get back to the pack!"  Keith grabbed Lance's hand and swam somewhere. Once Keith stopped swimming Lance gasped loudly in surprise. The whole sea before him looked like the city of New York. "What is this place?" Lance asked in amazement. Keith gave Lance a side glance like he was stupid. "Seriously Lance Did you hit your head on that tail fin of yours?" Keith asked while moving his hand over Lance's head for injuries.

Lance looked at Keith's tail and saw omega markings on it. They were a shiny red and violet. "Pretty..."

Lance then swam away in the city looking around. But one thing caught his eye. It was a baby dragon-fish. It had white glowing eyes, blue lines on its back, and black and blueish fins. It was hiding in the alleyway. "Hi, buddy..." Lance said softly. The baby dragon whimpered and swam back a little. "Hey it's fine I won't hurt you."

The creature swam out to Lance but it was swimming off. Lance was able to get him and hold him. "Is everything okay? Your swimming off..." It whimpered and looked at its tail. Lance glanced over at it to see that it was half cut and had a net tangled on him.

Lance got the net untangled and got some seaweed bandages. "There. That should do it!" He exclaimed happily. The dragon chirped and swam around happily. It looked back at Lance and licked him with its blue tongue. Lance laughed a little petting it. "Hmm, I wanna call you...Blue!" Blue chirped and swam around.

Lance swam out with Blue in his arms. He could see Keith and Hunk in a distance. Lance swam over to them and scared them. Hunk screeched in surprise and swam already five feet away from him  "Lord Alphor, Lance you scared us." Keith gasped.

Hunk swam back and hugged Lance. "Where did you disappear off to?" Hunk asked. Lance thought to himself. " I-I...dont actually know. First I remember waking up in the castle having a major headache. everything was blurry until I felt this source of dark energy over me. Next thing you know I'm a Merman swimming around in nothing but cold water." Lance moved his hand on his head moving his hair from out of his face.

Keith and Hunk exchanged looks. Blue just sat on Lance's head and purred cutely. "We might know someone who can help." Keith started. "Queen Jay!" Hunk squealed. "Oh I remember her! She took care of me when something happened a few years back."

After they all swam to what it seemed like eternity. They finally made it. Lance had blue on his neck since she was tired of swimming.  Or well that's what Lance thought.  Blue was just sleeping on him and sometimes purring when he rubbed her snout.

There was a huge cave full of mermaids and mermen. All swimming around quickly as they were doing there jobs. "What is this?" Lance asked while looking around. "This is rush hour in the morning. Now come on we gotta get to Jay and it's not gonna help if we're greeter whole time." Keith said then swam into the crowd. Hunk soon followed along.

Lance on the other hand was scared. He never liked being in big busy moving places. This wasn't gonna go to well. The chain on Lance's tail and waist were growing longer somehow. She he would have to just face his fear and move quickly.

He swam up and got stuck in the crowd until someone noticed him and told everyone to make room for the alpha. Lance looked at the merman and smilled. Even though the merman was wearing a mask over his eyes he still smiled back. 'Thank you' Lance mouthed and swam to Keith and Hunk.

"Alright let's get going!"
