Broken heart

Chapter 1

Key slammed his door as he walked in. "I hate him! How could he break up with me like that!? Over a stupid text while he was late for our date!"

Key threw his bag across his room. His roommate came out from his room.

"What the heck are you yelling about?"

"I was at the restaurant waiting for Jonghyun and he broke up with me over text!"

"Really? Why?"

"I don't know, Taemin!" Key yelled.

Taemin frowned. "Stop yelling. I didn't do anything to you."

Key frowned. "I'm sorry. I...I..." Key had tears running down his face.

Taemin sighed. "Stop crying. If he broke up with you, then he wasn't good enough for you."

"But I love him." Key cried.

"Well, he doesn't love you back. Stop crying. You're crying over a dumb guy anyways."

"He's not dumb." Key said.

"He dumped you over a text." Taemin pointed out.

Key cried harder.

Taemin huffed and rolled his eyes. "That's what you get for being gay. Why don't you stick with girls?"

"I-I can't believe you said that." Key said and stormed to his room.

Taemin frowned and knocked on Key's door. "Key, you can't just lay down all day. You have a life. Why would you let him ruin your life?"

"I can do whatever I want!"

"Why not get him back or make him regret that he let you go?"

Key was quiet. "How?"

"I don't know. I can play a prank on him." Taemin suggested.

"Okay," Key said, opening the door as he wiped his eyes.

Taemin smiled. "I like doing pranks. Let's think of something to do."

"Um...I don't know."

"Maybe you can make someone close to him be mad at him or something like that."

"His best friends are Minho and Onew."

"Then think of what we can do. Maybe I can pretend to date one of them, then make it look like Jonghyun took me."

"Okay," Key said and looked at his hands. "Do we have ice cream?"

Taemin sighed. "Chocolate or strawberry?"

"Strawberry," Key said.

Taemin got him a big bowl of ice cream.

Key slowly ate it. "I thought he would be the one...."

"Well, he's not. You can find a way better guy." Taemin said.

"What if I can't?"

"You will, Key. You're a great person."

"There aren't a lot of gay guys in Korea!" Key exclaimed.

Taemin sighed. "You'll find someone."

"There isn't a lot of options." Key sighed. "My parents still want me to find a girl...."

"Ignore them. They can't control your life. Maybe Jonghyun will come running back to you."

"I wish..."

"Maybe he will after our prank. So...which one should I trick into dating me?"

"Onew is too old for you. Anyways, I'm pretty sure Minho's gay."
