I can feel my face engulf in a deep red as, probably the most adorable human being, rides on my back as I make my way through the park.
Once we reach the end of the park Frank jumps off my back and walks beside me.
"I can't believe you let me stay on your back for that long"
I hear Frank say while he looks up at me with those beautiful hazel eyes.
"I'm a bit surprised myself, I mean I have the genes of an ultimate string bean. The one and only Mikey Way."
Frank laughs at my response which makes me perk up. Hearing his laugh is like hearing the pure voice of an angel.
"He sounds like a catch"
Frank responds with a wink.
After 10 minutes of walking and talking we finally arrived at,,,,,,,,, school.
The chatter of 1000+ people filled the school yard as they all waited to be let in and welcomed for their first day. I could already spot out the clicks and they looked wretchedly cliche. All those judging voices filled my ears and I quickly became overwhelmed. My body tensed and my body filled with nervousness. Frank, being the sensitive angel that he is, gave my hand a comforting squeeze and looked up at me. He didnt have to say anything. He didnt have to do anything more than smile. As he flashed that damn smile at me all my nerves melted away. This is my new high school. This is my new life. Its gonna be better than I thought.
