It's been 2 hours since Carl died. I was checked up at the hospital where I was giving officers my statement to what happened. I asked them if they can repair the android. They said no and they will throw him out. They told me he was to broken to fix. The cops shot him 4 times including breaking both his legs, which caused him to be chosen to be thrown away. I broke down again. After the conversation I called Jeffery telling him I want to be in every Deviant case. I checked to see if there was a tracker on Markus since every Android had one and the last known location was Carl's house so that mean's he turned Deviant. Markus could have not died. Maybe he's alive and repairing himself. I have hope. He's smart. He has to be alive. He's alright. He told me there was a homicide involving a cyberlife android. If I want to work now. I said ok and he gave me the address. Now I'm heading there. He even told me that my dad was there to. This should cheer my sprits... I hope. Luckily I got my badge and gun a couple days ago when Dad wasn't there. I made it to the address. I parked the retail truck placing my badge on and my gun back to my holster. I have to turn in the truck tomorrow so I'll be taking taxi drive's again. I walked to the front.

"No one is permitted beyond this point." The officer Android said.

"I'm Sergeant Anderson. I'm part of the Homicide sent by DPD." The Android scanned my badge. His LED flashes yellow before turning blue.

"Come in." He said. I passed him walked to the building. There I saw a familiar face.

"Detective Collins." I said smiling at him. He looked up seeing me. He gave me a smile.

"Hey (y/n). Haven't seen you awhile. what are you doing here?"

"Well I was finally transferred here. I finished my courses in august and worked with Deviant cases. Jeffery put me in the case's of them now." He nodded.

"Well, I just debriefed your father and his toy robot inside. Pretty much the victim is Carlos Ortiz and by the state of his body is in, he's been dead for about three weeks."

"Why didn't anyone report him missing?" I asked raising my eye-brow

"He was aa bit of a loner. The only reason he was found today was because he hadn't paid his rent so his landlord dropped by. He found him dead inside." I walked to the door looking at the body from there.

"Any criminal record?"

"Yes, for theft and aggravated assault."

"What about his android?" Maybe the android was scared. I heard they abuse them for fun which was why I sometimes I hate people.

"No sign of it, but the front door and windows were all locked, so if the android is the killer it had to go out the back door." I nodded walking in. O my god the smell. I forgot about that. I walked around the body connecting the dots. I counted the stab wounds in his body. 24...25..26...27...and 28 stab wounds. I stood looking behind me. Red Ice. He must of been high. I looked above the body. 'I AM ALIVE'. The writing was written perfectly, so that means the android did it. No human can write that perfect. I walked to the knife that was on the floor. Must be the murder weapon' I hum. I walked to the kitchen but before I could I noticed my father and another android standing there looking out the back door.

"There are no footprints, apart from officer Collins' size 10 shoes." The android said

"Well, this happened weeks ago. Tracks could've faded," Dad said walking to stand next to the android.

"No, this type of soil would've retained a trace. Nobody's been out here for a long time," The android say's and I clicked my tongue.

"Come on, Dad. Thought you would've known that," I say. Both men turned around to face me.

"(Y/N)! What the fuck are you doing here in Detroit?!" Dad asks me. I smiled walking to him and giving him a hug.

"I'm here to assist you. I was finally transferred here." I said. I felt a stare. I looked over to the Android's brown eye's examining me with curiosity. Wait it's the android form the news a couple months ago. He looks cuter in person. RK800.

"Hello, my name is Conner. I'm the android sent by Cyberlife. I here to assist lieutenant Anderson in the investigation."

"I never seen an android like you before," I said. Its true, so how come he's here?

"I'm a prototype."

"Well I'm Sergeant Anderson, but you can call me by my first name (y/n). I'm Hanks son." I said shaking his hand. I saw his LED light flash yellow. He scanned me.

"(y/n)," He whispers and I raise an eyebrow as he say's it a few more times. I smile, noticing he's testing my name then he looks at me, "okay (Y/n)." To cute!

"Alright cutie what we got here?" I said but regret saying that. I blush creeped up my cheeks as Dad glared at me. Can't blame for being gay. Conner is to much. "I-I mean um what do we have so far? I've only analyzed the living that's all." I said walking back in.

"I found something interesting in the bathroom. Come, I'll show you"

"No, it's fine. I'll take a look. I don't want to interrupt. Keep investigating." I said walking to the bathroom. As I observed the bathroom I could hear Conner explain what happened to dad. I crouched down outside the shower, examining a wooden statuette that's carved to look like a person. 'RA9' I mutter. I seen this before in some of the cases. What is 'RA9'? If Conner is right then maybe the bot is still here. Maybe he didn't escape. I walked out the restroom seeing the wall had the stain. I crouched down observing it. There was a ladder here, so where is it now? I looked around then looked up. An attic. Conner came looking where the ladder was then looked up.

"There are traces of Thirium there."

"Thiri what?" I asked

"Thirium. You call it the 'blue blood','"

"Is that what powers androids?" I asked. He nodded.

"It evaporates after a few hours and becomes invisible to the naked eye." He say's

"But you can see it still." He nodded.

"Boost me up." I said. His eyebrows furrow, but nods. He places his hands together for me to put my foot on and I used his shoulder to boost myself up. I sliding the attic door open getting in as Conner pushed me up. I turned around having my hand out toward Conner. "Jump, I'll pull you up," I tell him. He seems concerned. I shake my head and smile down at him, "I'm stronger than I look, Conner." He backs up before taking a few running steps and jumped. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him up until he can grip the edge of the floor with his free hand. He pulled himself up but we bumped heads once he was in the attic. "Ow" I said rubbing my forehead.

"Sorry (y/n)," Conner apologizes and I shake my head.

"It's fine. I should've moved back some more." I said looking at him. I stared at his brown eyes and he stared back at my (e/c). I blushed a bit before standing up. What was that? He stood up. We saw a figure behind a cover. I grab my gun and Conner pushes open the cloth to reveal an old mannequin. We walked passed it and around some old boxes, when someone runs from behind an old shelf ahead of us. We walked to the back of the attic around the shelf. We headed toward a pile of boxes when an android runs in front of us and slides to a stop. I notice the red LED on the right side of his head and his eyes widen in fear when he see's my gun. I placed my gun back to the holster having my hand in front of me, toward the android.

"I was just defending myself.. He was gonna kill me." His gaze. It reminds me of Markus. When he was scared.

"It's ok. I'm not going to hurt you. I believe you." I said taking a step closer to him.

"I'm begging you. Don't tell them." The android said.

"(Y/N)! Conner! What the fuck is going on up there?" I placed my finger to my lips to tell the android to shhhh reassuring him everything will be ok. Conner clearly didn't see and what he did next, cause me to want to punch him.

"It's here, Lieutenant!" Conner yelled. I turned to face Conner. It toke a second before I heard dad's voice again.

"Chris, Ben, get your asses in here now." I looked at the deviant seeing he was confused and mad. I grabbed his hand reassuring him. "Come on!"
