I stood by the door way of the room. The clothes Markus gave me were a perfect fit. I had to give his jacket back though, but I admit. He looks cooler with it. I looked up seeing an android coming. She looked at me and froze.

"Don't worry. I'm on your side. No I'm not an android, but I hope that doesn't change that I'm also trying to fight for your freedom." She shakes her head. "I'm (y/n)," I said having my hand out.

"Kara," She said shaking my hand.

"Did you and the little girl make it? Is she alright?" She nods.

"We need help. Do you know where Markus is?" I pointed to Markus that was sitting down thinking. She thanks me and walks in.

"Are you Markus?" I see him peek his head up. "I'm with a little girl and another android. There's a bus leaving for the border in less than two hours, and we need passports."

"No, Detroit's under curfew. There're soldiers everywhere and they're rounding up all the androids and sending them to camps. Maybe you should stay here awhile." Markus was right. After an hour I got here, I went out to get info for us, but they were rounding up androids. I heard the news saying that Detroit has been put on curfew. Some androids gathered up some computers including putting a screen to catch them up of what's happening here.

"Maybe you're right. We might be safer here until things calm down," Kara said looking down.

"I talked to one of the androids and they used to work at the State Department. He has electronic passports he can easily modify. I can go find him and ask if he can make some for you," I said walking to her. Markus nodded.

"Thank you," Kara said walking away till Markus calls her.

"You said you're with a little girl, right?" Kara turns back to him. "You know that humans hate us. Why are you protecting her?"

"She needs me. And I need her. It's as simple as that," She say's before walking away. I waited until she left.

"Did you have doubt that Humans and Androids can't have peace?" I asked looking where Kara once was.

"A bit. After all this. It's getting harder to lead, but hearing that. I guess that's what it means to be alive." He stood up. "To protect the one's we care." I smiled. "Come on," Markus said putting my hood over my head.

"Hey!" I yelled laughing a bit.

"We have to get to the top. North, Simon, and Josh are waiting for us." I nod, leaving the hood on and followed him to the top of the ship. As we made it, Markus stood next to the chair looking out to the cloudy sky. I walked next to North. After I found out she was his lover, I did kind off embarrass him a bit. I mean that's what siblings do. She didn't like me at first till she realize what I done to help and being the brother of her lover. After a minute Josh spoke up.

"We're short on blue blood and biocomponents. Our wounded are shutting down and there's nothing we can do!"

"President Warren is saying we're a threat to national security and we need to be exterminated," Simon said

"Humans are conducting raids in all the big cities and they're taking androids to camps to destroy them!" North pointed out.

"It's a diester. They're slaughtering our people!" Simon said.

"It's all our fault. None of this would have happened if we'd just stayed quiet!" Josh spat looking at Markus.

"It's not Markus's fault," I said. "It was bound to happen sooner or later. With Markus leading, staying quiet, or another android stepping up trying to do what they can to gain your freedom," I said.
