Conner's pov.

I walked toward Amanda. "Hello, Amanda"

"Conner, I've been expecting you. Would you mind a little walk?" I walked to her, opening the umbrella above, then stood by her as we walked. "That deviant seemed to be an intriguing case. A pity you didn't manage to capture it." Amanda said looking at me then forward.

"I have no excuse. I should have been more efficient."

"Did you manage to learn anything?"

"The walls of the apartment were covered with drawings of labyrinths and other symbols. Like the other deviants, it seemed obsessed with rA9." I said looking at her then back foreword.

"What else?" she asked.

"We found it's diary. Sergeant Anderson showed me it and as I skimmed through it. It was encrypted. It may take weeks to decipher."

"You came very close to capturing that deviant.... How is your relationship with the Lieutenant developing?"

"He seemed grateful that I helped save his life on the roof. He didn't say anything, but he expressed it in his own way."

"and what about sergeant. Sergeant Anderson. What about him?"

"He is very intriguing. He is very helpful finding the clues of the deviants. Much skill to his intellect that is useful," I said. I start to remember his eye's, when it shimmered in the sunlight. It made my heart skip. Wait what was that? I didn't realize I walked ahead till Amanda spoke again.

"We don't have much time." I turned to face her. "Deviancy continues to spread. It's only a matter of time before the media finds out about it. We need to stop this, whatever it takes."

"I will solve this investigation, Amanda. I won't disappoint you." I said determined.

"A new case just came in. Find Anderson and investigate it," She said walking past me. I opened my eye's hearing the taxi speak.

"You have reached your destination. Thank you for travelling with Detroit Taxis. We look foreword to seeing you again soon." I stepped out as the doors closed and the Taxi drove off. I walked to the front door knocking.

"Lieutenant Anderson?" I heard no answer. I ringed the doorbell. Still nothing. "Anybody home?" I walked to the left to the window but it was covered. I went back looking at the other window that was on the right side. I see a dog. I kept walking to go around the house. I found another window looking through it. I scanned seeing Hank on the ground unconscious. "Lieutenant Anderson?" I Pulled my elbow up and broke the window. I toke steps back then jumped in hitting my back, but turned to sit up to see the dog. "Argh!.. Easy!... Sumo." Sumo walked closer. "I'm your friend, see?" He is a bigger dog than I thought. "I know your name. I'm here to save your owner." Sumo walked away to go to the bowl. I stood up walking to hank then kneeled down. I notice the alcohol and the gun. I examined his mouth seeing traces. I went down seeing his heart was ok. "Lieutenant?" I raised my hand slapping him a bit on the face. "Wake up Lieutenant!" He went back to sleep. I smacked his face harder. "It's me, Conner!" I grab his arm. "I'm going to sober you up for your own safety."

"Hey!"

"I have to warn you," I said

"Leave me alone."

"This may be unpleasant." I finished.

"You fuckin' android! Get the fuck outta my house!"

"I'm sorry, Lieutenant, but I need you." I said standing him up. "thank you in advance of your cooperation."

"Hey! get the fuck outta here!" He yells leaning back. I lift him back up for him to stand. "Sumo! Attack!" Sumo barks. "Good dog. Attack!" I turned the hall then placed him on the wall to lean on as I checked the room. "Fuck. I think I'm gonna be sick.." Luckily it was the restroom. I went to help him again. "Ah! Leave me alone, you asshole! I'm not going anywhere.." I pull him into the restroom. "What the hell are you doing?" I let him sit on the tub edge. "I don't wanna bath, thank you." he say's standing back up.

"Sorry, Lieutenant." I said pushing him back down. "It's for your own good." I went and turned on the water.

"TURN IT OFF! TURN IT OFF!" I did, seeing him relax. He looked at me. "What the fuck you doing here?"

"A homicide was reported 43 minutes ago. I couldn't find you at Jimmy's bar, so I came to see if you were at home."

"Jesus, I must be the only cop in the world that get's assaulted in his own house by his own fuckin' android.. Can't you just leave me alone?" I wanted to be rational.

"Unfortunately, I cannot. I've been programmed to investigate this case and I can't do it without you."

"I don't give a shit about your goddamn case!"

"Lieutenant, you're not yourself. you should-" I was cut off

"Beat it! You hear me?! Get the hell outta here!" He said standing up but was wobbling. I grabbed his side and placed him back down. "Go with (Y/n) I don't want to be part of this case."

"I have tried contacting him but I get no answer. I do not where he is, so I came for you."

"Great. I didn't want to see me like this. Now get outta here!" I needed him to come. Even though I would prefer (y/n) to go with to the homicide. I stopped by (Y/n) place, but he was not home. He must have gone somewhere, so Hank is my only option to come. What would (y/n) do to make him come? Maybe he would tease? He does that a lot to his father.

"I understand. It probably wasn't interesting anyway. A man found dead in a sex club downtown." I said walking to the door. "Guess they'll have to solve the case without us."

"You know, probably wouldn't do me any harm to get some air. There's some clothes in the bedroom there."

"I'll go get them." I said heading to the room across. No wonder (y/n) has fun teasing her dad. His reaction's are funny. What? I shook my head heading to the closet opening it. "What do you want to wear?"

"Whatever." I grabbed the hippy clothes walking back to the restroom seeing him punk in the toilet.

"Are you all right, Lieutenant?"

"Yeah...Yeah.. wonderful. Just a. Give me five minutes, okay? "

"Sure." I said walking out and closing the restroom. I walked around learning more stuff about Hank. I come to the table seeing a photo down. I picked it up seeing it was a picture of a little boy. I scanned it being shock. Cole Anderson, deceased. He was 6 when he died. He must be (Y/N) little brother.... I placed it back down. I looked at the gun before turning back to Hank who came out.

"Be a good dog Sumo. I won't be long." Hank say's before walking to the front door.
