Location: A shopping center in Detroit Day: May 30th, 2042 Time: 10:40 am
After yesterday's news from Connor, Violet decided that she couldn't stay in Jericho another day, so she decided to take Willow, Carl and Alice to a shopping center in Detroit for the morning. Everything was fine for the time being until Violet heard a dog bark. She turned to see a German Shepherd who's eyes lit up when he got her attention. She then noticed his collar. His name was 'Goliath'. Violet's LED turned yellow. She knew his master. "What's wrong?" Willow asked as both she and Carl and Alice looked worried. But Violet didn't answer her, instead keeping her attention on Goliath. "Goliath, where is your master?" Violet asked, slightly desperate to know the answer. Goliath whimpered and whined in return, spinning around before running off. "Uh," she turned to the kids, "go home. It might be dangerous." Violet said before starting to run after the dog. "Wait!! How do you know him?!" Carl questioned making Violet stop. "His master is an old family friend!" She shouted back before running after Goliath again.
Location: The Suburbs Time: 11:20 am
Violet stopped in front of a cream, medium sized house, where Goliath continued to bark urgently. She nodded to him and rushed to the door, but decided it was best to knock. "Hello?" Violet called out cautiously and waited a few minutes by the door before it was opened. A woman with red hair and green eyes stood there blinking in surprise. "Violet! I didn't expect you to come!" "Hey Ottavia. Are you are alright?" Violet asked concerned. "H-huh? Oh, yes. I'm just a bit frazzled after what happened is all. Someone came into our home and is threatening to..." She trailed of, looking like she was about to cry. "It's ok. You don't have to tell me. Did you call the police?" "Yes. They're coming soon." Ottavia explained, letting Violet come inside. The house was full of oak floors and wood walls. A staircase to the left leading upstairs, an open entry way to the living room next to it, an office in the middle and an entry way to the kitchen on the right. "R-Ralph doesn't like strangers." Violet turned her head to see Ralph, a former gardening android and Ottavia's boyfriend. Cyberlife changed to the ways of the new era in Detroit's history and made repairs on Androids that needed it. They fixed Ralph up, except for his three scars that were beyond repair and he still spoke in third person, but was getting better due to Ottavia's help. Ottavia moved closer to Ralph.
"It's ok, Ralph. This is Violet by friend that I told you about. It's ok, she won't hurt you." Ottavia said in a calm and soothing voice. Before the Revolution, Ottavia was a psychiatrist, however sometime after she stopped working at the practice that she was in. She suggested they should open to androids that need help. Her bosses showed her the door. Eventually, she met Ralph in that old abandoned house that he use to live in. And the rest is history. "Hi Ralph. It's nice to meet you." Violet said politely with a soft smile. "H-hi." He replied nervously. Ottavia then turned back to Violet as Goliath went up to Ralph. "So... how did you find out I was in danger?" "Goliath. He came to me barking and he ran off when I asked what was wrong." Violet explained, and Ottavia nodded, satisfied by the answer. "But... what about you? Are you ok, Violet?" Ottavia asked cautiously. Violet let out an irritated sigh. She was tired of people asking about her and her problems. She didn't need help, she could handle her grieving on her own. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Oh! Welcome. Come in!" In came Ottavia from answering the door, along with Connor, Lieutenant Anderson and a few police officers entering into the main hall. Connor looked over at Violet.
"What are you doing here?" "I followed Goliath. He knows me and wanted someone to help, Ottavia was in danger. But it seems the danger is gone." Violet explained. "What about Alice, Willow and Carl?" Connor replied and Violet's LED flashed yellow. "I told them to go home." "What? Why would you do that? There's a killer on the loose, what if they got hurt?" Ottavia said, listing all the possibilities, she always had a soft spot for children. "They'll be fine. Two androids and a human won't be in much danger." Ottavia didn't look convinced, as they still were children no matter what way she looked at, but she didn't want to push Violet anymore. For one thing, she was going through a lot and two, she didn't want to wage any more officers' time. "I'm sorry, I must be wasting your time over arguing over petty things. You want to know about what happened. Yes?" Ottavia questioned as Violet snuck away and went back to Jericho.

Location: Jericho Day: May 30th, 2042 Time: 12:00 pm
Markus, North, Kara and Luther weren't exactly happy that Violet let the kids go home on their own, but we're grateful that she kept them out of danger. Currently, Markus and Connor were trying to figure out where the killer could be with Violet's help as she was an eyewitness as to what happened that night. Violet brought over security footage from the old house and they continued to look for any signs of where the man was. Violet sighed. "Why did you do this?" She muttered, directing it to the man on the tape. "Something was wrong with his mind?" "You're correct. It's a form of schizophrenia." The three turned to see Ottavia and Ralph at the door. "What are you doing here?" Markus asked. "Didn't Violet tell you I was coming?" Ottavia asked blinking and Markus shook his head. She sighed. "You're family and their secrets." Ottavia muttered. "Any other other reason why you're here?" Connor inquired noticing how nervous she was. "Well... I don't think it's safe for Ralph to stay with me at the moment," Ottavia began hesitantly holding his hand nervously, "and... I want to help where I can. I might be able to help this man. Identify what's wrong with him to help you with the case." "How would you do that?" Markus asked. Ottavia smiled. "I'm a psychiatrist, have been since before the Revolution and only quit a few years ago for personal reasons. Me and my bosses didn't see eye to eye on helping your kind." Ottavia exclaimed. "But for now," She continued, "I'll go back home. Someone has to hold the fort." Ottavia eyes then turned from bright to saddened. Violet knew how much Ottavia cared for Ralph and she was worried of leaving him behind. "Don't worry, Ottavia. He'll be safe here." Markus reassured her. She then blinked and smiled warmly. "Thank you." She said feeling at ease and kissed Ralph on his damaged cheek before leaving the building to go back.
Author's Notes I've been reading a lot of one shots lately, and they've convinced me that Ralph is just an abused android who needs love😊 (though the logic in me is telling me that he's an abused Android that's insane... don't hate me please! XD). News about my trip to Florida: My family picked a bad time to come... it's going to be raining the entire week!!
