"Mom, I'm going out" I called, I don't know how loud but by the way my vocal chords felt, it was loud enough. Maybe too loud.

Ahhh, see, buddy, I'd love to but I have to get a mothers day gift so instead, I'm going to walk to michaels, and you're going to shut up

"Oof, sorry" I said, and it may have been too quiet. I don't know. I just recognize the feeling in my throat to know how loud I'm talking
"It's fine" I watched his beautiful (C major...I'm sorry) lips form the words

"What's your name?" he asked
"umm..." it took me a second to realize what he had said. I had to picture his lips re-saying it a couple times
"I'm Tyler" I finally answered
"I'm Josh" said the adorable person standing in front of me
"Well, Josh, it was nice meeting you" I said
"You too, Tyler" he answered
I walked away
JOSH'S POV:
I bumped into a really attractive guy.
When he was talking, he kept lowering and raising his voice.
Once we parted, I realized I would never forgive myself if I didn't get his number.
I called after him "wait"
"wait"
"wait" and he didn't answer. He didn't have headphones in so I knew he was ignoring me but I wasn't about to give up
I ran over and tapped his shoulder. He kind of jumped and turned to face me.
"sup?" he asked
"I was calling after you" I said
"Sorry, what was it you were calling after me for?"
"Your phone number" I said
He reached into his backpack and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen. He wrote something on it. It said
Text, don't call
[insert phone number]
"Uh, why text, not call?" I asked
"Oh, cause I'm deaf" he answered
