9•➳ Dreams come true , not nightmares ➳

3rd person POV:

Jughead calls Betty over as the crowd around smiles as she walks up to him she turns around as He puts on her jacket , She grabs her medium length hair to pull out the strands of hair that were trapped inside her jacket. She turns around to smile at jughead gracefully and everything is perfect in that moment... The crowd of serpents are cheering. Toni and Cheryl Clap , Cheryl supporting her cousin as she whistles , everything suddenly takes a turn once a gun is fired in the air , turning all those cheerful whistles and claps into loud running and screaming..darkness evolves around everywhere the sunny skies suddenly turn into dark cloudy skies. Jughead immediately grabs Betty's arm and goes to a near area where there's a whole lot of trash and equipment to cover them, Betty looks at Jughead confused yet frightened . Jughead takes a quick peak to see penny Peabody and a whole bunch of ghoulies.
"Come out Jones Or your girlfriend gets it!" Jughead immediately looks at Betty and she shakes her head no..But he stands up quickly as Betty tries to grasp it attempting to pull it down. But he is to far for her to get him in time as he shows himself to penny and she has a evil grin on her face, penny snaps her fingers as a ghoulie comes up behind her to give her a loaded gun which is the one that was fired.. Betty quietly gasp as penny points the gun towards Jughead and he closes his eyes tightly waiting for the bullet to hit him .. Penny pulls the trigger , Betty begins to run as if in slow motion running in front of jughead in time for the bullet to avoid Jughead ..but not her..Betty feels the pain of the impact from the gun hit her stomach.
Penny's eyes get wide eyed as a group of police cars arrive to the scene, scaring them away ..this moment was supposed to be perfect ..Betty gasps and her breathe gets slow and fast at times "Betty..no no no ..." tears begin to form in his eyes as Betty continues breathing ...Until she finally gets enough air to say "I love you Juggie " she says smiling..
as her eyes close slowly.
"Betty?!" Jughead shakes her softly at first then almost roughly shaking her as tears reach his cheeks as he holds her in his arms as if the very first time .

Jugheads POV :
I wake up drenched in sweat ..Gasping as I see Toni is the only one who is awoken too.. "jones? " she says worried
"Betty she..She's dead "
"Jughead ..she left about an hour ago to go to her house..next door."  She says almost teasing me
But I don't laugh and she notices "What Jones..What was your nightmare about?" She says more seriously
"Betty she ..I ..She became a serpent and the - the ghoulies..they tried killing me but she went in front and she died instead .." tears threaten to fall and she notices
She gets up from her bed and walks over to mine and she sits.
"Look, i know your scared but ..it's a nightmare.."
"What if it actually happens because I brought her into our dangerous world .." my voice cracks real bad ,I'm surprised it's mine
"Have you ever heard the saying .nightmares come true?" She says raising her brow "no.." I answer confused to what she's trying to say
"Exactly."
"Dreams come true ,Not nightmares"
I nod in realization as I sigh
"I'll be right back .."I say getting up with my beanie already on since I never take it off..
"Where you going Jones?" She says smirking
"To betty..i Need her."
"Well damn jones that's not something I wanted to know.."
"Not like that" I roll my eyes and she grins as I i head out.

I debate wether or not this is a good idea..what if she's asleep ?
I go behind the bushes on the side of her house and pull out the ladder that we agreed to hide Incase I ever needed to sneak in.

As I reach the top of the ladder I see the beautiful blonde laying on her bed writing in her diary smiling as she closes it about to put it away , as she's about to get up she notices me and my heart skips a beat when her smile seems to get bigger , she opens the window and I hop in "Jug what are you-" I cut her off by kissing her as she deepens it, we both pull back not because we want to but we both needed to catch our breathe she smiles lightly , "I needed to see you" I say answering her question , she snorts "Why?"
"Oh no reason" I say reassuringly so she doesn't get suspicious..
"Well do you wanna stay over?" She says cupping my face
I nod as she hops into bed and I next to her , wrapping my arms around her as she places her head where my heart is beating and we doze off into sleep.
