I still didn't completely understand, but I helped Mads pack things up.
We were on our way. I have no clue where, but we were on our way. I looked out my window at the trees, and buildings going by. I looked up and saw some birds. I wrote in my notebook:

We are on our way out of town. I don't know where we are going, but it will be a long ride. I have nothing to do except look out the window, write, and read. I saw some birds and I wished I could be as free as them. They fly above trees, buildings, and chaos from the towns, and cities. I wish I could fly away from my problems. There are far too many. Well I should probably go back to doing nothing, adios beloved Flower.
I looked at what I just wrote. I missed Flower. She was my most favorite pet ever. She was a pretty tabby cat, and we haven't gotten another pet since she ran off and turned up a few days later on the side of the road. I remember Mads telling me about her. I was 2, or maybe 3 when we had her, and Flower had acted like a momma cat towards me. Always licking me, playing with me, and napping with me. I missed her. I always wrote in my notebook to tell her how I'm doing. It might be pathetic, but it makes me feel better so I continue doing it.
The car came to a stop. "Hey Em, we need gas, so if you want me to get anything in the gas station speak up now." I tried thinking of something witty to say. "Why do we need gas? I thought you had beans before we left." I said that with a straight face, but as soon as my sister looked back at me we both just couldn't stop laughing. "Okay smart butt, seriously, what do you want?" I giggled a couple more times then calmed down a little. "Just a bottle of water." Mads suddenly looked serious. "Wait you can have anything.. And you want water?? Who are you?" She smirked. "Oh you know, just your crazy sis with crazy powers. The usual." I smiled, and Mads just shook her head at me, said ok, and went inside.
