Falling in love with a shadow... ( A ShadAmy story)

Awake in 'L

Amy's POV:

I awoke, feeling fuzzy and disorientated. As I let my eyes adjust I realized... I was in a glass tube, and there appeared to be no exit. Shooooot.

My eyes adjusted more and I could see my friends in the same state. I observed their tubes to get a better understanding of mine. The tubes appeared to be at least five inches thick, and by the smoke in Blazes tube, fireproof. There was no opening at the top so you couldn't fly out, and the base... Looked like a puzzle that was missing a piece... A weird missing 3-dimensional object was missing from each one... Creams was the smallest piece and appeared to be missing a flower shaped object, Blazes was missing a round ball shaped object with a tail, Rouges was missing a gem or jewel shaped object, and Sally's was missing an acorn or nut shaped object... I wondered what mine was shaped like... Oh well, doesn't matter really.

My eyesight finally returned to normal and by the symbol by the only exit in the room we were in Eggmans ship... My friends were all either crying or beating against their glass tubes, or in Blazes case coughing up smoke.

I realized if the boys didn't find us we could possibly die here... Or worse become Eggmans test subjects for his crazy experiments... Or he could brainwash us and turn us into his slaves!

Amy now is the not the time to panic!

I calmed my breathing and tried to think happy thoughts. It didn't help much but at least I calmed down enough to think straight. The boys will come and save us... Right?

Back at the karaoke place:

The boys and most of the rest of the people woke up, rubbing their eyes and stretching. Shadow had woken up earlier than the rest of the people and ran out of there to try to find the girls. Sonic groaned and rubbed his head feeling a bump. He looked down at the ground and saw a piece of paper among a few other with Eggmans symbol. He picked it up and read its contents.

"Dear Sonic and friends,

Be warned that I have your girls,

And if threatened I will turn them against you.

All I ask of you four

Is to try and save them and die in the process.

Or else, how would you like to see your girls,

Tear the city as you know it,

Apart.

Or even better, how would you like to see your girls

Dead.

Or dying.

I await you aboard my ship,

From,

You know who."

"We have to go save them!" Said Tails, the others nodded and ran outside. They looked to the sky's and saw the ship flying waaaaaay overhead. "If we hurry we can grab my Tornado and fly up there!"So they ran to his workshop.

"Dang Tails. When did you turn this thing into a fighter jet?" Asked Sonic who had ran ahead and had to wait awhile for his friends to catch up.

"A while ago. And it isn't a fighter jet. It's just a bigger, better version of the Tornado with a bigger cockpit that can seat eight." Replied Tails.

"Are we going to talk all day or are we going to save the girls?" Growled Knuckles, the others nodded and jumped in. Tails started the engine then prepared for takeoff.

Amy's POV:

As I sat in the tube I realized how noisy my friends were, because right now the silence was the loudest thing I heard. I couldn't even hear Creams cries, or Rouges rant, or Sally's head banging against the tube, or even Blazes snores as she took a little cat nap. We were in soundproof tubes. Made sense, we couldn't call for help now.

What felt like hours seemed to pass before any change happened, red lights started to flash and if I held my ear against the glass I could hear the wail of sirens. The boys have come...

I waited what seemed like minutes, but was really seconds in reality, before Knuckles broke down the door. He scanned the room, till his eyes landed on Rouge, he rushed over and punched through the glass making it shatter. Rouge hugged him, and they ran out of the room, Tails hacked the bottom piece and the glass slid up making the crying Cream smile. As soon as she could slip under, she took his hand and they ran. Silver used his telekinesis to lift the glass up high enough so Blaze could slip under, then gently put it back down. Blaze lightly pecked his cheek then they ran out. Finally the last one to enter was... Sonic... My heart fluttered at the sight of him. My hero... His eyes scanned the room and... Went right over me... Wait what! He made a beeline straight for Sally... He spin dashed the glass and pulled her into his arms for a kiss. He grabbed her hand and started to go to the doorway...

"No! Wait Sonic! What about me!?" I yelled at the top of my lungs... He and Sally kept running. "Don't you guys care about me!? Help! Please!" They exited the doorway. "I thought you guys were my friends..." I cried. I mean I like full out sobbed... They left me here. Why? Don't they care about me? Don't they love me? Aren't they my friends?

Back with the gang

On a hill standing near Tornado

...

"Where's Amy?" Asked Cream. Everyone grew wide eyed and looked up at the ship.

"Oops." Shrugged Knuckles. "The only tube I saw with someone in it was Rouge's."

"Same here..." Said Tails, "But with Cream."

"Same with Blaze." Said Silver.

"Same here with Sally..." Said Sonic. "Do you think Eggman did that, made us guys only see our girls?"

"We could see each other and you guys perfectly fine." Said Rouge. The rest of the girls nodded.

"Then why didn't you tell us that we forgot Amy?" Asked Silver.

"I'm pretty sure we all assumed Sonic would get her." Said Blaze. "Annnnnnnndd he forgot, all in favor of saying its Sonics fault."

"Hey!" Exclaimed Sonic.

"Sorry..." Said Blaze.

"We should probably go back up there and get her." Said Tails. Everyone nodded and turned around... To see Eggman's ship shooting at them... Everyone ran for cover and heard an explosion behind them. Tails turned around to see a fire where the Tornado was standing. "Ahh come on! I just paid it off!" The shots continued and Tails ran again. A short while later they stopped. Everyone was confused of how they were going to get all the way up there. And Tails was having a hard time trying to figure out how to tell the insurance company his plane was exploded.

As they were thinking a pair of red eyes counted them... Eight... A pink hedgehog was missing. Shadow stepped out of the forest and stepped towards them. The friends noticed him and raised their fists. "Where's Amy?" He asked. His eyes full of concern. Cream took a backwards glance towards the ship... Shadow noticed... Knuckles ran at him, "Chaos Control!" Yelled Shadow as he took out his emerald, he teleported to the ship to find Amy.

"Where'd he go..." Growled Sonic.

"Hold on he had Bill's voice!" Said Sally.

"Um Shadow is Bill, hon." Said Rouge.

"Why did he ask where Amy is?" Asked Cream.

The friends now puzzled at this... Why did he ask where Amy was? Why didn't he fight back?
