The sun was just now rising and since I didn't sleep I decided to go drive near the abandoned house me and Jasmine would go to as children and jog. I have four hours to go before I needed to go to work. I had to stop and take a break because I felt like I was going to pass out. I looked through the fence to see a man, with his back to me, putting a new hinge on the old abandoned house. I stood there frozen as I just watched in complete awe. He seemed so powerful. He was in a dark grey t-shirt, dark blue jeans, and black Tim's. Even as his back was to me and I could see the muscle moving underneath his shirt as he worked. He was tall and broad and obviously fit. His long dark tresses were wavy and pulled up haphazardly into a bun on top of his head. A select few tendrils escaped the hold and rested against his tanned neck.

A part of a tattoo peeked out from underneath the collar of his shirt and his arms were covered in distinct sharp lines. To me, it looked like some sort of tribal tattoo. How long was I just going to stand here and stare at him? I've never seen anyone come in or out of the House before. Hell, I've never seen anyone go near it.

"How long are you going to stand there and not say anything?" His voice broke into my thoughts so quick and sharp that I gasped, but he didn't turn around.

"Sorry, I've just never seen someone in this place before, I always thought it was abandoned considering only me and my friend are the only ones that came here," I explain quickly.

"Well, now you know I come here for solitude," He turned around and I was shocked. Dark wavy tendrils of loose hair shaped his face and scythe-shaped eyebrows. A deep scar cut his right eyebrow in half. His Roman nose and half-dome cheekbones sat above a dark mass of wavy hair. His beard was long but well taken care of. His wrestler's shoulders were part of his burly physique. He was tall, well over six feet to say the least.

He walked with a tiger like-tread and his hazel eyes twinkled. They were bright and dropped slightly, but that only made him more appealing. His eyes they were almost entrancing against his tanned skin and darker hair, and his face was so angular and beautiful.

"I come back every now and then," He explained picking up his toolbox. His voice was deep, rough and smooth at the same time as he spoke I watched his lips move so effortlessly. The muscles in his arms strained and I wondered how he wasn't cold.

"So I guess we have to deal with the fact that we are sharing?" I asked looking up at him.

His seemed completely unamused as he nodded his head,"Yes, It would appear so" he extended his hand over the fence. Hesitantly, I placed my hand in his. It was massive and undeniably warm.

"Nice to meet you. I'm sorry, to be frank, but I must be on my way" I spoke quickly scared that I'd stammer.

"Likewise" He grimaced walking to his car and disappearing from my sight. Damn, I didn't even get a chance to know his name. Most men never catch my eye but there was something about him... It's intriguing to me... and it's not even about his looks. I stared off into space stuck in my head when I realized I have things to do than stand here like a half-wit. I turned away but not before gazing behind me one last time. I continued my jogging for an hour more before I went back to my house to freshen up. I still had 3 hours left so I laid down and stuffed my face with the burritos I made last night.

Well, that was until my phone rang. I gazed over to see it was Alice and so I picked up "Hello?"

She was panting like she just ran a marathon but knowing her she was frantically searching for something. "Thank god you answered! I need you to come down here now! I'm going absolutely crazy! The files are missing and-"

I cut her off quickly "I'll be there in ten minutes," I quickly hung up and ran straight out the door making sure to grab my things. I drove a little faster than I usually would and hoped a police officer did catch me going over the speed limit. When I got there I whipped my head back and forth looking for Alice. I saw a group of people in the corner whispering something about how she's freaking out so I asked them have they seen her. Lucky they said she was in the bathroom trying to calm down."
