I jumped again for the 40th time today. It's only been a day since that incident occurred and I have been on alert ever since. I walked down the hall trying to find a restroom but all I managed to do was squeal while making my heart hammer against my chest. I hated this, feeling petrified with every noise that I managed to hear if I wasn't so fearful I would say that my hearing enhanced. I drew attention everywhere I went. Even as I was driving here someone honked their horn and I jumped out of my seat and smacked my head against the car ceiling. After having enough of looking like a complete half-wit I asked someone to show me where the restroom was.

I thanked them and went to the sink to splash the cool water on my face. "Ok, just breathe... I am in a hot tub with a boat of Nachos floating beside me,"

I heard a scoff "That's an interesting image you got there,"

I turned on my heel and made contact on the floor with my ass. I glare while I got myself together. "Thanks for scaring the living shit out of me, Alice. Keep up the amazing work," I smile knowing well that my sarcasm could be detected.
She chuckled and massaged my shoulder roughly along with pinching my cheeks and shaking my head gently in the process "Put a smile on that face and act like you just won the lottery because the boss has just requested to see you in his office!" She clapped joyfully

My entire facial expression dropped from all emotion. He wanted to see me... What if I'm getting fired? What if he knows about how jumpy I've been this whole day? What if he knows I'm in grave danger and thinking I'm a dangerous hazard to everyone in here?! Oh, I'm totally fucked! No more food no more- "Calm down honey he just wants to introduce himself I'm sure either that or he wants you to just grab him something," she gave me a reassuring smile which calmed the panic inside my chest. I nodded turned back to the mirror and fixed my clothes the best way I could manage. With a deep breath, I wore a big smile but not before thanking Alice mostly because she didn't question my reasoning for acting strangely.

I held my composer when I got to the elevator. Once the doors closed and knowing I was the only one in here I starting jumping slightly to rid some anxiety off. Alright, now I just hope I don't make a complete fool of myself. "OK, smile and be extremely pleasant," I came face to face with the huge door.

"Ah, Mrs. Azami it's nice to finally meet you," I jumped at the sudden voice but came face to face with a guy that didn't look that much older honestly.

"Oh, where are my manners? Nice to meet you Mr.King," I gave a slight bow

He chuckled "You're the first to actually give a slight bow. You've officially caught my eye just from that. Now let us proceed in my office," he opened the door for me I gave him a quick "Thank you" and sat in front of his desk. The view here was amazing I could see everything. Turning my attention back to him I noticed his gaze was fixated on me. I gave a nervous smile frankly because I had no idea why he was gazing at me the way he was it was nerve-racking. He finally smiles and said; "I just called you here to say even though this is your second day I heard from Alice you are a wonderful worker. And I appreciate you taking on Alice's little test and giving it your all," He stood up and walked to the window "I sense that you are very successful in the future,"

"T-thank you, it means a lot coming from you sir," I bowed once more

"You don't need to bow to me Azami. Although, I'm starting to feel like I'm actually royalty around you with the way you bow. I'll come to your workspace later on. But for now, you may leave before I..." he shook his head and reached out a hand

"It was nice to finally meet you Mr.King," I stood up and took his hand shaking it. I opened the door until I heard his voice

"Oh, and by the way, I must say I love your hoops they sparkle brightly just like your eyes. Perhaps you can company me to a store and help me shop for my wife. Everything I get she isn't necessarily fond of. I buy her "old lady" jewel according to her," he chuckled
