When Two Souls Collide {Sans x Reader}

{Chapter 7}

Your PoV

You sat in Sans' arms for who knows how long before Papyrus barged in, "SANS, HUMAN! THERE YOU ARE!" "Uhh, yeah heya Paps." Sans waved to Papyrus. "I LOOKED EVERYWHERE FOR YOU!" "Did you now?" "YES! I LOOKED ALL THROUGH SNOWDIN FOREST, WHERE WERE YOU!?" "Umm... I was... with the River Person. Yeah! I was with the River Person!" You mentally face-palmed at Sans, you won't lie, he's cute, but horrible at lying. "WELL... IF YOU SAY SO SANS." Sans sighs in relief before Papyrus speaks again, "SANS, MIND IF I BORROW (Y/N) FOR A BIT?" "Go ahead." Papyrus picks you up and slings you over his shoulder and takes you into his bedroom before putting you down.

"So Papyrus what'd you-" "I will be the ones asking the questions human." Wait, Papyrus was using a normal voice...? Not good. "What exactly is your goal with my brother?" "W-What?" "What do you plan to do with him, (Y/N)." "Oh!" Silence. "I still don't get it." "Are you going to try and change him? Be with him only to leave and break his heart?" "No..." "He really cares about you, y' know?" "H-He does?" "Yes." "That's why I'm questioning you. I'm trying to keep him safe." "Oh..." "So I'll ask one more time, what are your intentions with my brother?" "I just genuinely like him." "Mhmm, well I'll keep an eye on you (Y/N)." "Okay Papyrus."

You get up and leave the room, sighing. 'Why does everyone think that I'm not who I say I am?' You thought to yourself. 'They always think I'm deceiving them, first Undyne, then Papy!' You sigh again, in deep thought.

~Timeskip~

Still, in the same spot thinking, you feel a presence behind you. You turn around in a flash, there was nobody there. 'Strange...' You think to yourself. Little did you know, someone was there...

Gaster's PoV

I've watched (Y/N) since she fell down. She's quite an interesting one. She reminds of someone Sans used to know named Buttercup. Buttercup's soul color was royal blue, integrity. Sans had fallen in love with her. A few years later, she died. Undyne was suspected to have done it. But memories are easily tampered with. (Y/N) turned around swiftly, startling me. I swear she saw me. But it seems she didn't... huh. Back to what I was saying. What really happened was Chara got jealous of Buttercup and Sans and poisoned Buttercup with... well... buttercups. Ironic, really. Chara tampered with everyone's memories so they thought she was killed by Undyne. The memory of Sans holding her decaying and dead body was real, mostly. When she died she actually turned to dust, as a monster would. But she was human... or so we thought. More about (Y/N). Her soul... it's well, complicated. Her soul is like a crystallized (F/C) gem. Not normal. No human has ever had a crystallized soul before... At least, not any that we have on record.

Your PoV

You find a book in one of the drawers in Sans' room. It's the book you read from Toriel's, except it had the author. The author was- You blacked out just before you could read it.

Sans' PoV

I'm sorry (Y/N), but I can't let you see that. I sighed as I laid her onto my bed. I picked up the book and teleported to the lab behind my house. "Hey, dad." "Hello, son." "(Y/N) almost figured out our secret." Gaster's smile faltered, before going back to normal. "Why not let her know son? You let Buttercup know pretty quickly." "Don't. Mention. Buttercup." I said as my left eye flared to life. "Sorry, I forgot you were still upset about that." "Upset? UPSET?! I'M MORE THAT FREAKING UPSET DAD! I LOVED HER AND SHE WAS RIPPED AWAY FROM ME AND YOU THINK I'M UPSET?!" Silence. "Undyne's lucky I didn't kill her." "Oh... about that..." "Dad?" "Um, never mind." "Tell. Me." I growled. "Well... it wasn't Undyne who killed her..." "WHAT?!" "Yeah, your memories were tampered with... it was..." "WHO WAS IT?!" "Chara." I was enraged. I growled with anger. "WHERE IS THAT LITTLE SHIT?!" Suddenly a girl appeared, she had dirty blonde hair, emerald green eyes, her skin was pale. She was wearing a hoodie that looked a lot like mine, except hers was blue-purple. She was wearing jeans and knee-high boots. "Sans, language please?" She said. "Oh, crud... I broke the fourth wall... WHERE'S THE DUCKTAPE!?" She disappeared instantly... what? "Oh her... I forgot she existed..." "You know her dad?" "Yes... she was my top lab assistant, and her name is Author-Chan or something like that. And she was always yelling about how she 'broke the fourth wall' or something like that..." "..." Silence. "Well, I'm afraid I must go, son." "Bye, dad." "Bye Sans." Gaster faded.

SO SO SORRY! I haven't updated in FOREVER! I am truly sorry for the inconvenience. I will post more often. once again, sorry 4 the short chapter.
