When Two Souls Collide {Sans x Reader}

{Chapter 25 - The End...?}

(A/N - Thanks so much for all of your support. In all honesty, I'm going to miss this book. It's always been one of my favorites. I'm very sad to see it go, but I hope you enjoy this last chapter.)

~A Few Days Later~

You were standing in judgment hall, Sans by your side. "Sans," You started nervously. "I'm scared." You said, looking him in the eyesockets. He hugged you. "I know, I am too." You look up at him in surprise. "You're scared too? B-But you seem so calm." You say. This makes Sans laugh slightly. "Well, yeah, I have to seem calm, just like I always do." 

You break away from the hug, looking down the hall. It was completely empty (other than you and Sans)... for now, at least. "Are you sure this will work?" You asked, regaining your composure. "Not at all," Sans replied. "But we have to try." You nodded determinedly. "Okay. We can do this." You said, mostly to yourself.

The two of you heard light footsteps from the entrance of the hall, echoing throughout it. "Well, well, well," Sans said, his demeanor completely changes. "Look who we have here." You could feel the tension in the room. "Why hello, comedian," Chara said from the other end of the hall. "Hello, Chara," Sans replied, left eye flaring to life. 

You just kinda stood there, unsure of what to do. This was until you heard that heart-beat like sound again. "Flowey..." You muttered. When you turned around, it turns out you had been right. Flowey was standing a few feet behind you. "Hello (Y/N)." The flower said, venom lacing his words. "Hello weed." You matched his tone.

It didn't take long before you and Flowey had engaged in battle. Almost instantly, Flowey had attempted to wrap vines around you. Jumping out of the way, something felt off. It was almost as if you could predict Flowey's moves before he made them. You went on dodging his attacks for what felt like forever before you finally got a hit.

This made Flowey mad. His attacks got faster, just like your dodging. As this continued, you ran into a slight, minor, yet ever so important detail. You were running out of stamina. 'Crap!' You thought to yourself. 'I can't let him win!' When Flowey realized you were tiring, he smiled. He thought this was going to be easy. Oh, how wrong he was. Your eyes turned (F/C), and you smirked. 

By some magic, you now had several knives with you. You grabbed one, twirling it around your hand. Quickly, you threw it. It hit Flowey on one of his petals, displeasing you. So, you grabbed another and threw it. This one slashed across his face but didn't make any serious damage. (Wow, you suck at throwing knives) Flowey attacked again, but since you were so tired, it hit you. 

Since you only had 20 HP, this was a problem. You were now at 15. Your eyes widened in shock and horror. 'That bastard.' You thought, grabbing yet another knife. Moving out of the way before Flowey could hit you again, you ripped off one of his petals. You smirked. 'Take that.' Your body suddenly ached with pain, causing you to fall over. Looking to your soul, you knew why. 

The gem-like item was slowly deteriorating, it was even chipped in some places. Flowey laughed. "You're in a bit of a predicament now, aren't 'cha?" He taunted, smirking. You could hear Sans fighting Chara behind you. "Not today, weed." You said, attempting to move. This caused Flowey to laugh harder. "What? You thought that you were going to be able to get up and be this over-powered badass who could destroy me in a heartbeat?" He continued to taunt you.

"Enough play. Let's finish you off." He said, placing a friendliness pellet inches away from your soul. "(Y/N)!" You heard Sans yell. He began rushing towards you, but it was too late. Flowey had just delivered the final blow. As your soul was breaking, you managed to say one last thing. "Sans... I love you." Sans was at your side, crying. "I love you too, (Y/N)." You drew your last breath and closed your eyes.

(Once again, goodbye. I'm really going to miss this book. If you liked it, you should check out my other ones. Having to drop this book really hurts me, so I hope you can accept the 'ending'. Now, me finishing this book does not mean that I'll start updating faster, I really am trying, but work and school are getting in the way.
