When Two Souls Collide {Sans x Reader}

{Chapter 8}

Your PoV

You sighed as you awoke. You don't remember what you were doing before you fell asleep. Getting up, you checked the time, 6:30 AM. You left the room and went downstairs, writing a note as to where you were. You left to Waterfall, to the Wishing Room.

You sigh as the Wishing Room grows ever nearer. Once you reach the room you sit down on the fluorescent teal grass. It feels soft beneath you. Breathing in the crisp air that carried the scent of the river, you gazed up and into the Underground's crystalline stars. You started crying but didn't know why. Looking down from the Underground's sky you scanned your surroundings. There was one strange echo flower, it was a gradient of blue to purple instead of pure teal. You lean into it, to hear it's message. "I wish I knew how to explain my feelings to (Y/N)." You gasped, knowing who it was 'Sans'. "I just can't do it, not after Buttercup..." The message ended. You laid down on the sweet-smelling grass and sighed, in deep thought...

~Timeskip~

It's been a few hours, so you decide to go back to Snowdin. You're walking through the town when you see... another human?! They had short brown hair, a blue and purple striped sweater, some black shorts and brown boots. You walk up to them. "Hi, I'm (Y/N). Who are you?" "I'm Frisk." "Nice to meet you, Frisk!" "Same." You show Frisk around Snowdin Town. He seemed to be just a few years younger than you. He was a pretty cute kid. He had a wonderful personality. Curious, sweet, kind, and creative! "Hey Frisk, where are you staying?" His expression changes. He looks down, nervous. "W-Well, could I stay with you?" He asks, you smile, nodding. "Of course! I'll just have to ask Sans." "Sans?" "You mean you haven't met him?" "No..." "Oh, in that case, don't worry. He may be lazy, but I'm sure he'll let you stay!" Frisk's smile returned as the two of you embarked on your way to the skelebro's house.

~Timeskip~

"What, yeah 'course he can stay! He'll have to take the couch though." "Oh, I don't mind! Thanks, Sans!" You giggled at how adorable Frisk was being. Well, they have a place to stay now. You felt as if he was your responsibility, your job. You didn't know how to describe it, but you felt as if it was your sworn duty to protect him.

Frisk's PoV (Before he meets you)

Huh. That's strange. I normally meet Sans by now. Well, this entire timeline has been strange now that I think about it. Toriel even said there was another human down here. I keep on my way through the forest. Until eventually, I see a human girl. She's about (Y/H)(Your height), her hair is (H/C), and her eyes are (E/C). She looks around (Y/A). She walks up to me. "Hi, I'm (Y/N). Who are you?" So this is the new human... "I'm Frisk," I reply in a cheery tone. "Nice to meet you, Frisk!" She exclaimed. She appeared to be only a year or two older than me. "Same." She showed me around Snowdin Town, though I already knew the way. I couldn't let her know that though. I couldn't burden her with my knowledge. She was too innocent for that. Too... sweet and kind. I turn to look at her. She mustn't realize it, but she has a soft pink brushing her cheeks. I feel my face heat up. Then she speaks up. "Hey Frisk, where are you staying?" She asks. I look down, nervous. I just normally speed-run it. "W-Well, I was wondering if I could stay with you," I said without thinking. She smiled nodding, I like it when she smiles. "Of course! I'll just have to ask Sans." "Sans?" I ask. Wait... she staying... WITH SANS?! He never invited me to stay with him in all these timelines... "You mean you haven't met him?" I decide to continue my act. "No..." "Oh, in that case, don't worry. He may be lazy, but I'm sure he'll let you stay!" I smiled as we continued walking to the skelebro's house.

~Timeskip~

"What, yeah 'course he can stay! He'll have to take the couch though." "Oh, I don't mind! Thanks, Sans!" (Y/N) giggled. Wait... if I'm taking the couch... WHERE'S (Y/N) SLEEPING?! I walked over to Sans so we could talk, in private.

"So, who is she?" "She's (Y/N), simple as that." I sigh. "I mean, what's she doing here? In the Underground." "Oh, I don't know. Just an accident in the timeline I guess." "But how?" "I don't know Frisk." I rolled my eyes. "Hey Sans?" "Yeah?" "Why are you letting her stay at your house. NEVER in ANY of they timelines have you allowed me to stay here, except this one." "Well... kinda hard to explain... long story." "Okay, then WHERE is she sleeping?" "Oh..." "Sans, TELL ME." "She's sorta, kinda, y' know... sleeping with me." He mumbled that last part, but I heard. "WHAT?!" "Hey! Shh. It's only because she wanted to. 'Cuz she didn't want me to sleep on the couch..." Huh... she must genuinely care. I'm going to be completely honest, I'm so jealous of Sans right now. I continue to question Sans as time passes by.

Your PoV (During Frisk's conversation)

"I mean what's she doing here? In the Underground." "Oh, I don't know. Just an accident in the timeline I guess." You stop listening. An accident? In the timeline? They knew something you didn't and you were gonna find out what. You waited until Frisk left the room before talking to Sans. "Accident, huh?" "O-Oh... I didn't know you heard that..." "Of course I heard it!" "I-" "I don't want your lazy-ass excuses!" "I-" "Now, you're going to answer the questions I have. Or this accident is gonna bash your skull in, got it?!" "Y-Yes..." You don't know why you're like this, it's like you're not the one in control. "What is going on with this 'timeline' business?" "W-Well, see, Frisk has this ability to, um, reset the timeline. So, for example, if Frisk died, Frisk could go back to before they did and try again, as many times as they want." "Who else knows about this?" "Just me, Flowey, and the kid, I'm pretty sure." Getting sick of this, you leave the house.

You walk past Waterfall until you reach a Lab. You enter without hesitation. You see a monitor with... YOU ON IT?! Kinda freaked out, you continue forward. Suddenly, a yellow dinosaur/lizard (Whichever you prefer) came out of an off room. She looked at you, surprised. "O-Oh! I d-didn't think y-you'd be here so soon!"

HAHA! Cliffhanger! I plan on making Frisk be Sans' rival to win your heart. I just think it'll spice things up a 'lil bit. The next chapter will be out in like a few weeks or somethin'.
