Mettaton smiles, glad that you agreed to sing. "Well darling, have anyone in particular that you want to dedicate this song to?" He asks, a devilish smirk on his face. Your face turns that familiar red and (F/C) combo, and almost instantly someone came to mind. "U-Um, well..." You trailed off.

Mettaton reads your expression, before smiling mischievously. "How about Sans, you know, your boyfriend?" He asks, eyeing you. Your eyes widen and you blush even harder. But then, your confidence returns, and the determination shines in your eyes once more. "Yeah. I dedicate this song to Sans." You say, looking straight towards the camera.

You look to a person backstage to whom you had spoken before the show, who nods as the music begins to play.

Sans' POV

As the music begins to play, I blush, if only slightly. I was watching from a TV in Grillby's, sitting at my usual spot at the bar. I recognize the tune from somewhere, but from where I don't remember. And that's when she starts singing in the most beautiful voice I ever heard.

"Wise men say only fools rush in,  but I can't help falling in love with you." She begins confidently. Remembering the words to the song, I sing the words quietly along with her.

"Should I stay? Would it be a sin, if I can't help falling in love with you?" We sing together. I can't help but notice the determination shining in her perfect (E/C) eyes. "Like a river flows surely to the sea, darling so it goes." We continue. The area is quieter than before, not that I noticed. "Some things are meant to be." I watch her sway gently to the music, her (S/C) skin seeming to glow in the light.

"Take my hand, and my whole life too. For I can't help falling in love with you." The entire building is silent other than the crackling sound of Grillby's flames. "Like a river flows surely to sea, darling so it goes, some things are meant to be." We sing in unison, harmonizing by complete accident.

"Take my hand, take my whole life too. For I can't help falling in love with you." I take a moment to realize just how lucky I am to have someone like (Y/N) before continuing. "For I can't help falling in love with you." We fade out. The entirety of Grillby's was filled with clapping, both from the TV and from the people inside. My eye sockets widened in realization as I frantically teleported home, my face getting bluer by the second.

Normal POV

Once you had finished, there was an eruption of clapping. You smiled to yourself, knowing that they liked it. "Well thank you (Y/N) darling, that was wonderful!" Mettaton exclaims happily, clapping along with the audience. Looking out you saw that, one by one, everyone was standing up. A standing ovation, for you. You blush harder. "Thank you, thank you, but i-it's really nothing." You say simply.

"Nonsense! Your talent is fabulous!" He says, before looking to his wrist, though he had no watch. "Alright, darlings~! That's all we have time for today, I'll see you next time!" Mettaton says the main closing. "You can go home now, darling," Mettaton says simply. You thank him and leave quickly.

Once you get to Waterfall, you take your shortcut to Snowdin, heading home. You find Sans inside, on the couch. He had his hood over his face, muttering to himself. "Sans, I'm home." You say. In an instant, he's out of his hood. "Oh, hey (Y/N)!" He says cheerfully. "Are you okay Sans?" You ask him.

"O-Oh yeah, I'm fine." He says. You roll your eyes at his state, heading to bed. "Well, goodnight." You say. "I'll be up in a minute." He says, laying back down on the couch.

~Timeskip~

You wake up, feeling Sans beside you. Sitting up, you think of a cute idea. You grab some of Sans' clothes, going to the bathroom to change. After putting them on, you snickered to yourself. You looked exactly like him, other than the fact that you're human and stuff.

You decide to go for a walk while waiting for Sans to wake up. As you walk past his sentry station, you see the Ruins' door rustle. You walk towards the door, hiding behind a tree. The doors open and Frisk walks out... except... it's not Frisk?

It looks like Frisk, but... younger. You follow behind them, curious about them. However, on your way, you snap a branch. Quickly, you hide behind a tree. 'Frisk' turns around, frantic. Seeing that nobody was there, they continued forward. You still followed behind them.

When they reached the gate, however, they stopped. You, however, kept going forward. When you were directly behind them, you spoke. "Human." You said. "Don't you know how to greet a new pal? Turn around, and shake my hand." You finished. 'Frisk' turned around, shaking your hand.

There was a farting sound as you looked to your hand to see a whoopee cushion that hadn't been there a few seconds before. "Heh, the old whoopee cushion in the hand trick, it's always funny." You say, though not even meaning to.

"Anyway, the name's (Y/N), (Y/N) the human. You're also human, right? That's hilarious." You continue, not having control over what you say. Until finally, you're able to move and speak on your own again. 'Frisk' looks up at you. "Hi!" They say in a voice that was way higher pitched then what you remembered.

"I'm Frisk!" They say cheerfully. So it was Frisk, but how? Frisk had been a lot older last time. Also, this one seemed... feminine? "How old are you, Frisk?" You ask. "I'm 5!" They say. 'F-Five?' You think to yourself. You take Frisk's hand, smiling to them. "Here Frisk, come with me." "Okay, mom!" They say. Your eyes widen in shock 'M-Mom?! I thought that was Toriel's thing!'

You take them to your 'house', making them sit on the couch. "I'll be right back, okay?" Frisk smiles. "Okay, mom!" They say. You go upstairs, opening Sans' door. "Sans?" You ask quietly. You hear Sans sit up and you enter the room completely, closing the door behind you. "What is it, Buttercup?" He asks tiredly.

"It's about Frisk." Sans wakes up completely. "What?!" He asks. "No, no, no! It's not what you think. It's just that they're back... but they're younger and... more feminine?" You say, unsure. Sans relaxes, if only slightly. "And they called me mom." You added quietly. "Where are they?" He asked. "Downstairs on the couch, why?" You inquire.

"Ah, no reason. Don't worry, everything will be fine." He responds, laying back down. "I'll be down in a few minutes." He finishes. "Okay." You say, heading back downstairs. Frisk runs up to you, hugging you tightly. "Mommy!" They say happily. You smile slightly, hugging them back. They look up at you. "Mama, where's Dad?" They ask. You start to blush. "Uh..." You trail off, not sure how to answer the question.

That's when Sans opens the door, stepping out. "Mom, is that Dad?" Sans hears this and his eye sockets widen. "Uhm..." You couldn't think of anything to say, as Frisk runs up to Sans and hugs him. "Dad!" They shout happily. Sans hesitantly hugs them back.

Well, life sure is changing. Who knows if it's for better or for worse.
