The sun rays crept through the window, I watched the dust dancing in the sun's rays and listened to horse's neighs outside. I stood up and pulled on a navy blue dress, I put flat coal black ankle boots on and walked into the kitchen. "Hello Arianne" my father greeted me "Hello father" I smiled back innocently "What have you done?" my father asked me, he raised his eyebrow, he knew when I talked innocently I had either done something or I wanted something. "I haven't done anything!" I said frowning, "What do you want?" he asked smiling, "Um" I began "Can I go to visit Tristan? he said I could visit today" my mother looked round at me "Oh" she smiled "When did he say that?" I looked up at her "Yesterday" "Hm" my father grinned "Alright" "But" my mother began "Take Owen with you" I groaned and rolled my eyes, I stomped back into the bedroom. I walked over the Owen's bedside and shook him awake, "Arianne!" he groaned "Leave me alone!" I narrowed my eyes at him "No! get up! you are not going to stand in the way of me meeting up with MY best friend!" Owen looked up at me "Does that mean I get to see Sofia?" I nodded. He got up as I left room. Sofia was Tristan's brother.

Five minutes later Owen came out from the bedroom wearing a dark blue top, black trousers and black shoes. I threw a black cloak around my shoulders, Owen got his cloak as well. It was quite cold today. We walked to the town stables, the stables were run by the Ryder's. We got to the training arena and watched a bay horse being trained by Albin Ryder, Tristan and Sofia's father. A woman with fair hair came up to us and said "If your looking for Tristan and Sofia they're training a colt in stable six" I smiled "Thank you Mrs Ryder" her name was Marina, she nodded smiling and walked off. Me and Owen walked off to stable six. Inside one of the stalls Tristan was stroking a long legged bay colt. He looked up at me "Hi Arianne" he grinned, Tristan had blonde hair, pale skin and bright blue eyes. "Hi Tristan" I grinned back. "Sofia?" Tristan asked his nine year old sister "Can you get a apple, this one's going to take some coaxing" I stared at the frightened colt "What's his name?" I asked Tristan "Tempus" he answered. Sofia handed Tristan a blood red apple, he held it in front of the colt's nose and began to coax it into a rope bridle. When the colt's head was in the bridle, Tristan came out of the stall. "Come with me" Tristan said smirking as he grabbed my forearm and pulled me to a big stall, he pointed to a grey mare. She was beautiful and next to her was a cute little black foal, he stared up at me. "The mare" Tristan began "Was brought from Andalusia in Spain for the King" I gasped "But she was pregnant and he didn't know, and if you want him he's yours" I looked Tristan disbelief, I flung my arms around him, he hugged me back. "Thank you so much!, I've always wanted a horse!" I said drawing my arms from him, he chuckled "Got any name ideas?" I turned to look at the foal "Arion" I said grinning. Tristan smiled at me, "He's four months old, in two months we can move him into his own stall so the King won't know Arion is her son" I sighed happily. Now I had my own horse, Arion.
