We rode for hours, our horses were getting tired and so were we. "Nearly there everyone" announced the black haired man. After a long ride in the lashing rain, we reached the army camp. It was packed with tents and men of different shapes and sizes. I groaned silently, I was going to fit in loads. A fifteen year old girl. We entered, there were some gasps, I just ignored them. We dismounted our horses and they were taken to the stables. Some soldiers snickered at me. I rolled my eyes.

I heard shouts and walked briskly towards them with a few others, "ALL THE MEAT IS GONE AND A ENTIRE ARMY NEEDS FEEDING" a bulky man was screaming at a young scrawny lad with ginger messy hair, "I - I'm sorry" he stammered "Some people c - came and asked for it -" "SO YOU GAVE IT TO THEM?" the boy nodded. "Which archers are gonna hunt?" the man asked calming down "Half of them are dead" I stepped forward "I'll do it" he and a few others burst into laughter "Britain must be desperate if they're sending little girls to the army!" I felt anger swelling inside me and I punched him in the face, hard. I smirked "What's the matter big boy? grazed your knee?" quite a few laughed at this. I turned on my heel and stalked towards the forest, Tristan caught up to me. "Can I hunt?" he smirked, "Alright, couple of rabbits and maybe some deer is our goal".

We walked into the dark forest, we pulled our hoods up and came to a clearing full of rabbits. I made hand signals and we departed throughout the trees. I crouched to the ground and drew a arrow from my quiver which was hanging on my back. I aimed it and let go. It pierced a rabbit, we killed thirty eight rabbits in one hour in the forest. We walked around trying to find some deer and we found three. We crouched down and shot two bulls eye in the chest and we shot the third one's back legs. So in total we killed three big healthy deer and thirty nine rabbits, we shot one on the way back.

We arrived at the camp dragging three deer along and thirty nine rabbits in our arms. We dragged them to the tent were the bulky man was. He was explaining to the king why we had no meat, "Well if we have no meat" the king said with furrowed eyebrows "Then what's that" he jerked his head to me and Tristan. The man turned "Oh, well I thought they weren't going to come back with anything-" "well you thought wrong" the King smiled. He walked towards us, "Your names?" he asked, I nudged Tristan "Tristan Ryder" he said plainly, the king nodded "And you?" he asked turning to me "Arianne Roe" "Ah" the king nodded "Both fine hunters, Adam and Gideon, they taught you I suppose?" we nodded. "Well then!" the king said turning "Help them then!" the nearest soldiers rushed to help us.
