One week later...

"All right, everyone, quiet down! I have the finalised list for the camp rooming! Rememeber, the rooming is random and we have tried to mix you up as much as possible, sibplease to not complain to me asking for a room change." Everyone groaned and Zhengting could see numerous friends exchanging sad looks, including Xukun and Justin.

"Alright everyone, listen up! I'm going to read the list of names now, and your roomate will be in this homeroom!" She then began to read of a lost of names and Zhengting zoned out until he heard her say, "Chen Linong and Lu Dinghao..." He turned his head and smiled at Nongnong. "That's quite lucky, Dinghao is a pretty nice guy."

"Yeah, but I don't know him that well... The only class we're in together is Gym."

"You'll be fine!" It's better than having some big bully as a roomate," Zhengting answered.

Nongnong was just about to answer when the teacher said something that stopped both of them in their tracks—at least, vocally. "Cai Xukun, you're with Zhu Zhengting. Justin, you're with..." Zhengting never heard the rest of her sentence, he was too busy gaping at her, mouth wide open, jaw dropped to the floor, eyes bulging wide out his sockets. "What...how...what the actual hell?" he spluttered, completely traumatized. He glanced to his left and saw Xukun staring at him openly, a similar shocked expression displayed clearly on his face.

"Oh my goodness...Zhengting..." Even Nongnong was clearly at a lost for words. Next to Xukun, Justin was furiously whispering in a frozen Xukun's ear, constantly glancing in Zhengting's direction. When he saw Zhengting looking at him, he blushed and turned away quickly, but not before whispering one last comment in Xukun's ear.

Zhengting had a pretty good idea what he was saying.

"And there you have it! Your Sophmore Camp roomings, for 3 weeks! Remember, these rooming assignments are not negotiable, and please do not beg me for a room swap. Like it or not, you will have to learn to cope with this person for the three weeks you are at camp, whether that person is a complete stranger, your worst enemy or your best friend—though it probably isn't the latter most," the teacher said, and Zhengting could have sworn she had smirked at their misery.

Just then, the bell rang and people instantly began to stand up and file out of the classroom, including Zhengting who was desperate to get out and clear his head. As he was heading towards the door, he heard Justin's worries voice ring out. "Kunkun? Kunkun, you're really scaring me. Xukun!"

Zhengting turned his head and saw Justin desperately waving his hand in front of Xukun's face. As for Xukun, he was still staring blankly at Zhengting's empty seat. Justin turned around, about to call for the teacher, but upon realizing she was already gone, he turned to Nongnong and Zhengting and pleaded, "Please, do you know what's wrong with him? I can't get him to respond! To anything!" While Zhengting was more hesitant to respond, Nongnong, being the kind cutie he was, ran over and began rapidly shaking Xukun's shoulders, calling, "Xukun! Hello? Answer me, Justin's really worried about you, Cai Xukun!" At those sentences and the rapid shaking of his entire body, Xukun finally seemed to snap to attention. He bolted upwards, his back straight as a bored, legs tense. Eyes darting around, he finally seemed to notice Nongnong, Justin and Zhengting. "Oh...I'm so sorry, what happened?" he asked.

"You completely zonked our, that's what!" yelled Justin, standing up. Do you know how worried we were? You were literally frozen and staring there!" He pointed at Zhengting's chair.

At that Xukun finally seemed to realize what had actually happened and he immediately dropped his head in embarrassment, unable to meet Zhengting or Nongnong's gazes. "Oh... Sorry," he answered slowly.

"Well good! Now come on, we're gonna be late to Bio!" Justin yelled, grabbing Xukun's arm and dragging him out. As he hurried towards the door, he turned around to stare at Zhengting. "Aren't you in our Bio class too?"

"Um...yeah," he replied softly.

"Well are you coming?" he barked impatiently.

"Oh! Well, I'll see you at break?" he asked Nongnong. Nongnong nodded quickly with a smile on his face.

"Ok, well, bye..." he waved at Nongnong and followed Justin and Xukun out the door.
