Forever and Always - a zhengkun story (ON HOLD)

When breakfast ended, the freshman year migrated to the campsite courtyard - a massive patch of grass surrounded by the dining hall, computer lab, washrooms and the kitchen. There were also numerous paths leading to different areas of the campsite.
When everyone was standing in the center of their courtyard, the camp director Zheng Yixing clapped his hands and called everyone to attention.
"Everyone listen up! I want everyone to split up into their homerooms. You'll all each have a camp mentor and a school teacher in charge of your homerooms."
The crowd slowly dispersed towards each of the 4 corners of the courtyard. Zhengting, Nongnong and Quanzhe all headed towards their homeroom. From a distance, Zhengting could see Xukun, Justin and Xiao Gui fooling around with a bunch of the cheerleader chicks. When Xukun met his gaze, he smiled politely and gave Zhengting a tiny finger wave, before turning his attention back to Wang Jinlian, a pretty, sassy cheerleader/dancer. Who, incidentally, went to Zhengting's dance school. Though they were never in the same class, because Zhengting was at a much higher level than she was.
Not that he ever told anyone except Nongnong.
The three of them headed over to the edge of the small crowd and waited for their teachers to arrive.
Soon, they saw two figures heading towards them. Up close, Zhengting saw the familiar face of Cheng Xiao, his maths teacher, and another adult with messy black hair.
"All right, everyone, listen up please!" called Cheng Xiao. "Everyone, this is Mr. Li Mingjun, he will be in charge of your homeroom along with me. Now I will tell you your first activity of the day. It is...Raft building! You will split into two teams-they have already been decided-and each build a raft using the materials we provide as well as sand, water, and anything else you can find on the beach, though I doubt you will need anything. Let's head on over to the pier!"
Soon, everyone was gathered at the pier in their group with a pile of material in the center - plastic barrels, rope, hollow light PVC pipes and more. Unfortunately, Zhengting was separated from Nongnong and Quanzhe; plus he had Justin on his team.
"Ready, set, go!" called Mr. Li. Zhengting's groups scrambled towards the material, shouting out ideas on how to construct the raft.

30 minutes later...

"Alright, is everyone ready?" yelled Cheng Xiao.
"Yes miss!" everyone answered. They were getting ready to race on their rafts.
"Ok then, on your mark, get set...GO!" cheered Cheng Xiao.
Instantly, everyone on Zhengting's team started paddling as hard as they can. Too bad for both the teams, neither had constructed the raft very well, because the rafts were quickly falling apart. On the pier, Cheng Xiao and Mr. Li were laughing as they watched the teenagers struggle to stay aloft.
Meanwhile on the raft, Zhengting's team were all grabbing onto the pipes for their dear lives, not wanting to fall in. Luckily for Zhengting, his part of the raft was more securely tied, so he didn't have to worry as much. Poor Justin, on the other hand, was screaming as the pipes he was sitting on broke apart and he fell ass-first into the freezing water.
Squeals and gasps were heard as everyone turned to look at poor Justin, who was screaming at the top of his lungs. "HELP! I CAN'T SWIM! HELPPP!!!" Numerous people tried to pull Justin back up, but Justin kept slipping out of their weak grasps.
By now, the raft had moved forward by a lot so somehow Justin ended up next to Zhengting, who was at the back of the raft. He turned and glanced down as Justin bobbed up and down, his head vanishing and reappearing every few seconds.
What do I do? Zhengting thought. He's horrible, but if I don't help him...

Hahaha I apologize now for three things:
1. Not updating for so damn long. I'm a serious procrastinator, plus I just came back from holiday (I know, again, so sorry). So I didn't have that much timeeeeeee. Sorry peeps.
2. For making this chapter a cliffhanger. Especially since I won't update for a while.
3. For this cliffhanger being a really trashy one cuz u can probably already guess what's gonna happen in the second chapter...
