Forever and Always - a zhengkun story (ON HOLD)

Zhengting watched as Xukun finished unpacking the rest of his luggage. "God, why is unpacking so tiring?" Xukun grunted as he slammed his finally empty suitcase shut and slid it under the table. 

"I know! It takes forever to take everything out and nearly stack them on the cupboards or in the drawers!" Zhengting agreed. 

Just then, Zhengting felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He took it out and saw one new text message from Nongnong. 

 Hey Ting, I'm leaving my cabin now, want me to come over to wait? Or did you leave with Xukun already?

Zhengting  rolled his eyes. Why on earth would Nongnong think that Zhengting had left already? 

Geez, Nongnong, are u sure ur my bff? Cuz u sure don't act like u know me v well...

Oh right, I 4got ur slowness! Alright, I'll come over now w/ Dinghao, is that ok?

Ofc I'll b waitin 4 u

Zhengting turned off his phone and turned to Xukun. "Hey, um... Nongnong and Dinghao are coming over to get me... Maybe you should text Justin or Xiao Gui?"

"Nah, it's ok, I'll just walk by myself. Chances are, they're gonna be late anyways," he answered with a chuckle. 

Zhengting shrugged. "If you say so," he said. 

Just then, they heard a sharp rap on the door. Zhengting got up form the bed and opened it. Nongnong and Dinghao stood there, smiling. "Hey Nongnong! Hey Dinghao," said Zhengting with a small smile. 

"Hey Ting-ge!" Nongnong then peered around his shoulder to look inside the cabin. "Oh, hi Xukun!"

"Hi, Nongnong..." Xukun slowly walked forward to stand behind Zhengting, standing on his toes to see more clearly above his shoulder. 

"Guys, we should start walking now if we don't wanna be late," Dinghao piped up shyly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh, and I'm going to pick up Xikan on the way there. His cabin is one of the first, so it shouldn't be too much of a bother..." He looked hopefully at us, silently pleading us to go with him.

"Oh, sure!" Nongnong cheerfully replied. 

They left the cabin and started heading over to the entrance to the large clump of cabins. Near the entrance, Dinghao stopped at another little cabin and rapped his knuckles in the door. "Hey Xikan, you ready?" he yelled.

"Coming!" Someone yelled from inside. A few seconds later, Li Xikan's head popped out and he looked surprised at the number of people standing on his doorstep. "Oh! Um, hi guys," he said shyly, rubbing the back of his neck and smiling an adorably sweet smile. "Do you guys mind if Quanzhe comes with us? He's my roomie."

"Oh, you're rooming with Quanzhe? That's nice, he's so cute and nice!" laughed Nongnong.

As is on cue, Quanzhe came scurrying out of the cabin like the little hamster he was. "Oh hey, Ting-ge! Hey, Nongnong!" he cheered with a beam. Zhengting waved at him with a smile of his own.

"Um guys... We're going to be late soon," said Xukun. He hasn't said anything for so long, Zhengting had almost forgot his presence. 

"You're right, let's hurry up," agreed Nongnong, starting to walk. Everyone else hurried to catch up with his long quick strides-Zhengting and Nongnong at the front, with Xukun trailing a couple feet behind; then Dinghao and Xikan, and finally Quanzhe bringing up the rear, furiously typing on his phone.

Oh my gosh you guys, I'm so sorry! I know that this chapter is really stupid and boring because it was kinda rushed and had no major plot increase, but I'll give you a little spoiler for the next chapter: it takes place that night in the cabin! Who knows what gonna happen...
