The next day...

Zhengting woke up to a beam of sharp sunlight shining through the window. He yawned and stretched, slowly sitting up in his bed while crouching down to make sure his head didn't smack the underneath of Xukun's bunk. After blinking his eyes rapidly to clear the early morning grogginess, Zhengting climbed out of bed and grabbed his toiletries, heading into the washroom.
Half an hour later, he emerged from the toilet, hair still damp teeth freshly brushed, and sporting a fresh set of clothes. He glanced around in surprise when he still didn't see any sign of Xukun. He must still be sleeping, he thought. I'm sure he'll wake up soon. Nodding to himself, Zhengting put down his caddy and began packing his bag for the remainder of the day.
10 minutes later...
Zhengting glances at his watch again. There were only 15 more minutes until the end of breakfast, and Xukun still wasn't awake. Damn the stupid two-person rule, he thought. One of the camp's rules was that no one could be alone, ever. This meant that Zhengting couldn't leave the cabin for breakfast without Xukun. Sighing, he climbed up the ladder and stared down at Xukun's peaceful form. "Xukun," he said softly. "Xukun!"
When Xukun's figure didn't even twitch, Zhengting hesitantly shook Xukun's leg. "Cukun! Wake up!" Finally, he saw Xukun's eyes slowly flutter open. Xukun groggily stared up into Zhengting's eyes. "Whaaa...What?"
"It's 7.45 already! Breakfast ends in 15 minutes!" yelled Zhengting.
"Oh, sh*t!" roared Xukun, bolting upright, his head narrowly missing the ceiling. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry," he apologized, quickly hurrying down the ladder after Zhengting. "Ugh, I'm not even going to shower. Do you mind turning around? I'm gonna..." he trailed off and held up a clean shirt.
"Oh, 'kay," Zhengting replied quickly. He spun around and waited as Xukun rapidly hanged out of his pajamas.
When he was done, the two of them rushed out of the cabin and sprinted towards the dining hall at top speed. "Wow...You're really...fast," panted Xukun.
"I dance. You need to have...good...strength and stamina to...dance well," answered Zhengting, a little breathless.
They reached the dining hall with 5 minutes to spare. Zhengting glanced around and saw a table covered with big pots and pans. "Food's over there," he told Xukun, pointing at the table.
They quickly hurried over and filled a plate with random foods. Zhengting glanced around yet again, attempting to spot his friends. Finally, he saw Nongnong's familiar head peeking over the crowd. "Bye," he told Xukun and scurried over to NongNong's table. "Oh hi, Zhengting, where were you?" asked Quanzhe.
"Oh, Xukun slept late so we had to rush here," he answered, spooning scrambled eggs into his mouth.
"Well you better hurry up, you have three minutes left," Yanjun ushered. Sure enough, pretty much everyone around him were done eating and were just chatting. Nodding repeatedly, Zhengting quickly finished his food.
