Sooooo sorry its been a while. I have been really busy and I don't know when I can update next so I will try to make this chapter extra long.  Or at least try to....

Percy's POV

*flashback*

The final battle against Gaea was finally coming to a close. But....not in our favor

Jason, Piper, and Annabeth were fighting a horde of hell hounds that was at least over a hundred in total.

Hazel, Frank, Reyna, and Will were fighting giants with Hephaestus and Ares, somehow those two made up.

Many other demigods were fighting Earthborn, a hydra,  a few chimera, the gorgon sisters, telchines, and many more.

Even though many demigods were still alive and fighting an equal amount were dead and the numbers of the dead kept rising.

I was fighting along side Nico, Thalia, and Leo.  We killed anything that came into our path.

We were going for Gaea.

Before I knew it the gods had flashed a majority of their children out of the battle field and came down to fight themselves.  The only demigods remaining were the seven plus Reyna, Thalia, and Nico.

Thankfully with the gods fighting along side us the stood a better chance of winning and soon the tides of war turn for the better, well at least for us they did.

There were hardly any monsters left on the battle field and weren't that big of a threat, but the biggest threat was that Gaea was still alive and kicking.

I looked over to Leo and he looked at me.

We both knew what we had to do.  One of us had to kill Gaea since we were the closets ones to her.  So, like any logical demigods, we charged at her.  Leo with his hammer and me with Riptide.

(I am not good at fight scenes so please bare with me)

Leo was swinging his hammer trying to hit Gaea while I was trying to stab and her.  But Gaea dodged it all with ease.

I looked at Leo, and him at me, both made the silent decision to attack with our full powers blazing.  (No pun intended).

Leo was on fire and so was his hammer.  His flames reached over twenty feet in the air and made about a ten foot dimeter around him.  While I made a mini hurricane about the same size as his flames.

I could feel the gods, the seven's, plus Nico, Thaila, and Renya's eyes on Leo and myself as we battled Gaea.

Leo threw fire balls and sung his hammer at her, while I threw balls of water and stabbed at Gaea.  I honestly don't know how we did both things at once but we knew we couldn't stop the ambushes because at one point she wouldn't be able to block all the attacks.

And you know what...we were right.

After about five minutes of none stop attacks there was finally an opening and we took it.  In the blink of an eye Leo was able to smash Gaea's head in while I stabbed her through the heart.  Which thankfully she disappear into gold dust as well as all her minions/monsters.

I looked around the battle field completely exhausted and saw the gods and the demigods that were there and alive looking at us.  I turned to look at Leo and he looked as bad as I felt... terrible, which I mean I probably looked the same, right after I looked at him I saw spots dance across my vision and then everything went black.

*flash backs ends*

New one begins

(Still Percy)

I was walking on the beach by myself thinking about all I have lost in both the wars and how it was all my fault for the deaths of every one.  How I couldn't protect any of them.  They all died so young and I couldn't do a dam thing about it.

I kicked at the sand and sat down looking at the lake. I sat there for what felt like hours until I noticed my dad's presences behind me.

"Hello Father."

"Son, I know this is not the best time but we need to talk."

I didn't say anything to him nor did I look at him.  I just continued to stare at the lake, even when he sat down next to me and sighed.

"The gods want to summon you, the seven, as well as Nico, Thalia, and Reyna at a later date to discuss your reward for saving us all.....again."  Poseidon gave me one last look before he got up and flashed away.

I continued to look at the lake for what felt like hours, which it probably was.  I watched as the sun set, as the stars came out and I could hear the campers going back to their cabins for the night.

I couldn't move I didn't want to.  I just wanted to watch as the stars glistened off the lake.

It was beautiful.  And I never wanted to look away from it and I never wanted it to end.

But of course all good things must come to an end.

I watched as Annabeth walked down to the beach with...with another guy?!

I could hear her giggling and talking to him but I couldn't make out what they were saying.

I sat there silent and watched them to I saw them kiss.

I sat there frozen in shock.  After the shocked passed I got up and ran I ran to my cabin and cried and cried.  For hours, eventually falling asleep.

*end of flash back*

Third Person POV

Percy and Leo were chained in regular handcuffs and were fast asleep on two med-beds in Bruce's lab.

All the avengers, plus Loki and Fury, were in the room watching the two teens sleep.  Each of the mortals, besides Fury, wondering who these two boys are.
